At undergraduate level, Dyal Singh Evening College offers B.Com Program, B.Com (Hons.), B.A Prog., B.A (Hons.) Program in English, Political Science and History.

Dyal Singh Evening College UG Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination with an aggregate of 45% marks for admission to Honours courses.
For B.Com/ B.A. (Program), candidates require aggregate of 40% marks.
Selection is made on the basis of marks obtained in the qualifying examination that includes one language and three best subjects.

Note- Applicant must have passed Mathematics/Business Mathematics in 10+2 for admission to B.Com. (Hons.).

Girl candidates are allowed 1% relaxation in all courses.
There is no minimum age bar for admission to the undergraduate courses.
The applicants with gap year(s) are also eligible for admission.

Non Bias Review of Dyal Singh Evening College, University Of Delhi

Likes

I like the faculties of my college specially for my course. They all are very honest towards their work.
Proper classes is going on. Rarely we face class cancellation.

Dislikes

5-7% of the students are wild, you can find difficulties if you aren't smart in dealing with them.
Infrastructure, basic amenities like drinking water, wash room isn't up to the mark.

Fees and Financial Aid:

The year wise total fee of the college for my course is approx ? 15000. I'm comes in General EWS category. I think the fee is same for the general students too. The fee includes tuition fee, development fee & other compulsory fee. Examination fee will be charged before every exam of total ?1000.

Life at dyal singh evening college

Likes

Helpful teachers , diverse students , great exposure. Great learning experience
The college also has good connectivity via metro thus easy to reach

Dislikes

Lack of proper placement cell thus student have limited options as a career
Canteen food not so good and has limited options , over crowded most of the times

Fees and Financial Aid:

Yes , of late the fee hike was a major issue . Still more than the tuition fee it is the residential/PG that is most costly and hostels aren’t available in the college. Total cost for me was 2 lakh per annum Scholarship are available in the college

Likes

Campus is great with great great infrastructure and faculty
Societies of my college are great and Dramatics Society is best among them

Dislikes

Fight wre regular there between students

As I can see ..fees is affordable for every social category. If u compare with private universities ,du fees is so affordable . As I registered in galgotia too , for the same course political science hons I had to pa 60000 and In dyal singh evening , I'm paying 13500 for the whole year

College canteen prices are affordable and food is good according to prices.
College campus, infrastructure of campus, college societies

Dislikes

College building is very small, and they don't have medical room facilities.
Behaviour of non teaching staff is very bad. theyalways misbehave with students and don't do our work.

Fees and Financial Aid:

Our college annual fees range between 10000-13000 yearly and 500 for semester exam fees. It's very high and not affordable for everyone. I didn't get any scholarship, financial assistance & job on campus with a stipend.

Joyful world in DSEC

Fees and Financial Aid:

It charge a small amount 12-14k per year as a fee which includes exam fee and other fee. They give opportunities for scholarships and also reduce fees for those students who have EWS quota. Exam fee and other fee was included in annual fee.

Fees and Financial Aid:

The fees for our course was around 50k which was for 3 years. Annually we have to pay the fee which was around 16-17k which include the course fee and exam fee. The submission of fee was through online portal through indian overseas Bank (IOB) . The exam fee was being submitted through the same procedure. I did not get any scholarship as such but one of my friend got the financial assistance and scholarship from one of the company
