Faculties - very supportive and helpful. the way each faculty teaches the students was v much better than expected.
The fee structure is low enough to ensure inclusivity, and provide quality education to everyone. on top of that scholarships are also provided based on merit and socioeconomic criterias to further aid the students in financial and monetary aspects.
Eligibility for the course was good marks in class 12th and the student must've studied commerce in class 12th you can find application forms on the du official website.

Dislikes

Placement is also not very good but the Return on investment is good
Management is also not good like sometimes we don't know to select course or how to give back exams.
no shops nearby college and is at an isolated place from market

The Reality of the Parent's Favorite University/ College.

Likes

There is not attendance headache, only deduction in internals
The canteen is quite affordable, the quality is also good.
No headache of getting the admit card, then go again and again for sign for admin, directly signed admit cards are given to us.

Dislikes

there is no proper playground to play sports, there is a single ground for all sports except basketball
Not maintaining a proper app for attendance

Placement Experience:

my college provides internships and jobs at the end of each year, they bring about 50 companies and all students are eleigble, they have to fill forms for registration and then when the companies come they have to go for interview, where the hr are sitting of that company, if they wish to apply

Academic Excellence and Dream Professors, Great Crowd

Likes

The professors are very well qualified and very approachable and helpful, it is a very important part of college life and a great asset for this college.
The crowd is good, the girl to boy ratio is almost equal, and the people are very friendly and supportive, and at least, you will never see anyone fight with each other.
Helpful staff and good location, also, very safe for girls and boys alike.

Dislikes

The campus is very small, has two main buildings, and one canteen the size of a hall, but there are open spaces to sit, not a lot anyways. But the best part about having a small campus is everyone knows everyone so no fights.
There are no serious sports facilities available, the gym is not equipped properly and the sports accessories are also not provided properly.
The college fest is not good at all, completely boring and nothing happens, don't expect anything at all from the college fest.

Placement Experience:

The college has a placement cell which comes up with lots and lots of internship and job offers throughout the year, you get multiple new job opportunities every week but the campus placement is not all that great, B Com courses have somewhat decent placements. the college doesn't push very much or try much to get students placed, you're on your own.

A Real Story By A small Town college Student

Likes

College Was good But first good thing is COLLEGE Environment and college thinkness towards greenery
Next good thing is silent Election that was Happened in college premises
Professor was good familiar behaviour very knowledgeable very talented very good

Dislikes

Small campus is main disliked thing in college
Small Cafeteria and ground also equipment is also less in our college major problem
Far from south campus and safety concern and also pg rent

New education policy is not good old education policy is good now this time we gave exam of 6 subject. During Old Education Policy we gave only 4 Exam Ge Dsc But new Education Policy also burden Student Teacher and Government say that grown student Skill Ability Value But that is very Different from Motive

Dcac in a glance

Likes

Great societies and social opportunity. Have great library and good faculty memebers that are supportive in nature.
The areas nearby college are calm and location is very good. The pgs nearby offer good stay at comparitively cheap prices

Dislikes

The campur is cramped and isnt that big and hence infrastructure isnt very good
The sports opportunity is highly limited with less equipment and no coaches

Placement Experience:

College has a placement cell that provides placement opportunity but very small number of students apply and get avg placement of 2.5 lakh and max placement of 7 lpa. Companies that visit are generally times of India, republic media, hettich, and various startups Approx 70 students get placed every year which is nearly 5% of the yearly passing out students

The Life in Delhi University - A Fresher's Perspective

the college offers a great diversity of people, thus providing an inclusive enriching experience, wherein one gets to meet newer people, learn from thier ideas, cultures and practices. thus, in an overall respect, an inclusive climate is maintained..
the course offered is diverse and yet to the pount in the aspect that it doesnt deviate alot from the main concepts, while ensuring that the attention and mind of the student is grasped. the written knowledge is also provided in a fun and amazing way
the fee structure is low enough to ensure inclusivity, and provide quality education to everyone. on top of that scholarships are also provided based on merit and socioeconomic criterias to further aid the students in financial and monetary aspects.

Dislikes

the infrastructure is rustic and appears often to be on the brink of demolishing, a little renovation wouldnt hurt. while the rustic aspect does provide it a historical aspect and aesthetic, which is often fun to be in.
the absence of a class often becomes an issue when students are not intimidated about it before hand, since qlot of us transverse long distance to reach college, it often turns out to be a form of lack of productivity in a manner.
increase in the number of official college fests from annual to biannual is thebonly other dislike that crosses my mind at the moment. this too is a hyperbolation, lest apart delhi university is a fun and amazing place to spend a quality academictime

the course curriculum is diverse in the aspect that it is enriching and informative, without diverting much into unecessary passages. the student faculty ratio is the desirable 1:40, which ensures proper attention to each student. the teaching methods employed and the readings are perfect for the course, and a weekly timeframe of the syllabus is also provided to ensure that the student is well aware of the progress. the term exams are held in form of end sem exams that are tad bit difficult but can be passed with good marks if one has revised and studied by dedicating even meagre 30 minutes a day to each subject.

Crowd of the college I find best and osm during most of the day
Faculties are teaching very well in the class
Seniors are very friendly and helpful with our problems

Our college has uncertain in conducting of classe
The college has small playground and no park at all
The freshers part individual and common was no conducted well

I opted this course because I want to pursue upsc and secondly I belong to arts stream.faculty to students ratio 1:40.most of professor have pursued mphil and their teaching methods are osm. Exam are currently going on , it seems that they would be tough as told by other faculty.

The campus of the college are relatively very small.it is around 5acres only

In order to pursue upsc ,I had opted this course.faculty to student ratio is 1:35. Most Of the professor have done mphil. The term exams are going on and the class test conducted so far seems to be not of that level of difficult as thought

Delhi college of arts and commerce a mystery.

Likes

My experience is not really good but it's ok I am enrolled in ncc so I can say that it's good but my college is not really good as there are very few students if you want to enjoy college life so you can't choose this course.
Teacher's are really good and qualified and knowledgeable as they are very helpful to us they provide every single thing that we want they're friendly in nature and take class on time and something scold us for not present.
Library is my main attraction in this college it:s like an another world in college. The books that are present are really good in condition the chairs and desk are also good.

Dislikes

Infrastructure of college is not good it can be better.
There is nothing nearby college like cafe's.
The college is very far from bus stand and metro station also.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because I just want to get a graduation degree and nothing else. The faculty is very qualified, knowledgeable and helpful. In my class, there were 45 students. The exams are semester wise and exams are not really tough it's easy.

Here is a brief review of the Delhi College of Arts and Commerce.

It has a good infrastructure. The library is fully automated. There are over 56538 books. You will also have access to e-resources.
The sports facilities offered are quite good. There are well-maintained and specious sports courts for Basket Ball, Volleyball, Football, etc.
The faculty at DCAC is quite good. They are well-qualified and have years of experience in teaching.
BROADWAY is the placement cell of DCAC. It works with the aim of establishing a good institute and industry interface. Students of the institute have been placed in major companies like E&Y, L&T, ICICI Prudential, Genpact, etc.
There are many prestigious student development societies like ENACTUS DCAC, VYAPAAR, LEHAR, Clicks - the photography club.
The annual feast of the institute is known as AMBROSIA.
