- Sandipani Hostel: This boys hostel has 230 Triple Sharing and Double Sharing (only for NRIs) rooms in total. The building is spread over an area of 1,53,000 sq.ft across 11 floors. 600+ students can be accommodated here at a time.
- Maitreyi Hostel: This hostel has a total of 130 Triple Sharing and Double Sharing (only for NRIs) rooms and an intake capacity of 373 girls. The building has 5 floors and is spread over an area of 94,000 sq.ft.
- Polytechnic Hostel: This hostel is both girls and boys and has a total of 6 floors and 71 rooms. All rooms can accommodate 4 students at a time. Here, the first 2 floors are dedicated for girls and the rest 4 floors are for boys.
- Ashtavakra Hostel: This hostel has 12 floors in total and is spread over a huge area of 216994.71 sq.ft. The hostel has an intake capacity of 712 boys and girls on Twin sharing, triple sharing basis and Dormitory.
Sports and Performing Arts: To keep students physically fit and mentally healthy, University has developed big playgrounds and enough arrangements inside college's. And students have a plethora of indoor and outdoor sports activities ranging from Badminton, Basketball, Chess, Cricket, Football, Futsal, Handball, Judo, Kabaddi, Kho-Kho, Powerlifting, Skating, Tennis, Squash, Taekwondo and Volleyball etc. to play, enjoy and rejuvenate themselves. The first year fee of B.Com. course in Somaiya Vidyavihar University is INR One lac twenty five thousand. The second and third year fees are also the same as the first year.
As of now, there is no reservation based scholarship opportunities but its only offered based on special categories and based on financial background.
