BAMU (formerly known as Marathwada University) is a state-level university located in Aurangabad, Maharashtra. It is recognized by the UGC and accredited with an ‘A’ grade by the NAAC. BAMU offer UG, PG, and Doctoral-level programs. The university has a total strength of more than 4,44,336 students. B.Tech is one of the most popular programs at the university. Admission to B.Tech is done through the MHT CET entrance examination followed by counselling. MBA and MCA admissions are based on the MAH-MBA-CET and MAH-MCA-CET entrance examination scores. BAMU Admission Process

Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University starts its admission process in the month of July-August every year. However this year the admission process starts late and is still going on. Admission for Undergraduate courses is based on the merit (created based on the qualifying examination ) for most of the degree courses like B.Sc, B.Com, and B.Aand entrance exam (MHT CET) is accepted for professional courses like B.Tech. Admission for Post Graduate courses is based on the entrance exam conducted at the state or central level (PG CET) for courses like MA, MSc, MBA (MAH MBA CET), and LLM. And Admission to Ph.D. courses is also based on an Entrance test (PET), followed by a Personal Interview.

BAMU Application Process

The Application Process for BAMU is conducted through online mode.

Candidates need to fill out the application form available online on the official website of BAMU.
Application fees for candidates under Open Category from Maharashtra State, Outside Maharashtra State (OMS), J& K Migrant candidates and NRI/ PIO/ Foreign Nationals/ Children of Indian Workers in Gulf Countries is INR 1000 has to be paid through any online payment method.
Application fees for candidates under the reserved category of OBC, ST, SC, VJ/DT- NT (A), NT(B), NT(C), SBC, and PwD from Maharashtra state only is INR 800.
While filling out the application form, candidates need to ensure to fill in all the correct data and with all the relevant documents of qualifying examination as per their course selection.
The application number, id, and password generated by the system have to be kept for future admission procedures.
After submitting the application form, candidates need to wait for the merit list of their particular courses or the release of the exam date of the entrance exam of their exam.

BAMU Result

BAMU Results are declared on the official website the university for all the courses. Candidates need to visit the website as per their exam schedule as some of the courses are conducted semester wise and some are conducted annually. Courses like BA, B.Sc, and B.Com have their even semester exams in April and May and odd semester exams in October and November. Candidates can check their results by entering their admission number/enrolment number and course details on the result link. Results are generally released on the website within 1 month to 1.5 months after the completion of the exam. This result will include all the marks and evaluations done through the class tests, internal assignments, fieldwork, and practicals. Hardcopy of their generated result has to be kept with them for future records and also for fee submission of next semester.

My BAMU university experience.

Likes

The environment around the college is very nice and I really really enjoy the ambience in the college.
The classrooms are very neat and tidy with good Display Board and the lecturers.
I like to play cricket the most and here it is the very well maintained playground for the student those who are interested in sports quota.

Dislikes

To be honest I don't want to consider the things that I did like actually it's the hectic portion and the mass lectures.
Some of the mathematical problems are very comprehensive to solve.
The theorems which are used to study earlier are more enthusiastic here and it borders my mind to think beyond my curriculum.

Students view on course curriculum

The course curriculum at BAMU University is comprehensive and well structured covering both foundation and advance topics. It focuses on core subjects influenced my decisions to join as it Alliance well with industry demands the curriculum prepared students for Real world Applications by integrating case studies projects and presentations making it both practical and academical ready full stop however there is room for improvement in terms for adding more skill based modules and updating some topics to reflect current trends overall the curriculum is relevant but could benefit from more modern teaching methods.

Fees of the course per year

As a student pursuing a BA degree from BAMU University the yearly tuition fees is around 250000. This fees covered tuition and admission charges but explodes other expenses like hostel rent and miscellaneous cost. The hostel rent is 12000 per year offering decent accommodation. Unfortunately there are no scholarships available at the University for BA students and financial aid options are quite Limited. For the students in the other categories (SC/ st/obc) the fees remains similar, tho some students may away of government find its scholarships based on eligibility. Additional charges such as exam fees and registration cost add up to around 6000 per year. It's worth noting that the fee structure has remained fairly stable with no significant increase over the last few years. However the lack of financial aid makes affordability challenge for many students.

Events organized, clubs and facilities available in the campus

My experience with campus life at BAMU University has been incredibly enrich and reaching. The social environment is vibrant and welcoming with new marriage opportunities for students to connect an engage. Social aspects like festivals clubs in the festivals the university host a variety of annual and Technical festival throughout the year some notable once include Diwali Dussehra Raksha Bandhan etc provide a platform for students to showcase their talent participate in cultural events and simply have fun and in clubs like the campus has a wide range of student Run clubs and organisations creating a diverse interest. Whether you are a passionate about sports arts music Academics or social causes your likely to find club that align with your interest joining these clubs not only allows you to pressure your hobbies but also provide opportunities to develop leadership skills collaborate with pears and make life long friends. Overall my experience with campus life at BAMU University has been positive and rewarding the vibrant social environment diverse club activities and excellent infrastructure create a conductive atmosphere for learning and personal growth.

Hostel accommodation in the campus

The university offers hostel facilities rented accommodation and much more meal quality. the hostel registration process usually involves submitting of the documents paying the deposit and tiffin fees. The hostel mess provide veg and non veg menu as per the student affordability and the quality of food is very nice the menu typically includes Northern and South in dishes of India which are very enjoyable to eat.

Students view on faculties

The faculty to students ratio at BAMU University is balanced ensuring individual attention. Most professors are approachable and encourage discussions, making the learning process interactive. Dr Kulkarni and professor Mehta are favourite due to their engaging teaching style and indep subject knowledge. However some faculties seems less engaging in their lectures leading to reduce interest among students. Exams are considered semester wise with a mix of theory and practicals. While most students pass with proper preparation the marking scheme can be a bit trick. Demanding clarity and relevance in answers the curriculum is well structured and align with industry standards.

I applied to Maulana Azad University and Jawaharlal Nehru University and BAMU University I received confirmed admissions from BAMU University. I choose BAMU University because it was really great University it could be because of the strong academic reputation specific programs offerings location and affordability

The campus life is here is average my interaction with the classmates are normal way study to get the end use the computer left frequently there are not regular events of cultural activity but they college environment is okay for admission
Some students in the college behaviour is bad effect to and environment their content is not very clean and students are not allowed to sit outside some classroom are poor maintained with broken light switch boards and dirty contents that need improv

Dislikes

My classroom in the college they are Parliament someday how broken switch boards poor lights and they very dirty regular cleaning is needed but it is often ignore by the college
The college content is not clean and hygiene standards are poor also students are not allow to sit or hangout clearly in the open area which making campus fill restricted and less enjoyable
Some student in the college behave very bad their act like bills and the creator destruction environment for the other which effects the all over all college atmosphere

For admissions Our collegs accepts exminations like JEE and MHT-CET if you want to get admission in this college then you must have to pass JEE or MHT-CET examination and then by seeing cutoffs of this examinations you can get easily admission in this college.
