College the new home of our beginning

Faculty:

The are total 80 teachers for 1200 students. Most of the faculty are good and quite intelligent and well experienced.all the faculty till now are best . There are total 4 examination in the college and they all are of moderate level

Faculty members are all with the Masters degree and some of them are pursuing a PhD. They teach opd syllabus which is outdated They should grant access to new age tools like Cadence....for my branch Some of the faculties like Prof.Inderjit Singh Sir were very helpful and took lot of efforts to teach us difficult subjects like VLSI design. Exams are not that difficult....one can easily score well if studied sincerely. The faculty student ratio was pretty decent for our branch like 1 teacher per 50 students.

Teaching faculty is amazing and classrooms are well equipped

the faculty is very supportive and helpful as well. Teaching methods are also very effective. The exam papers aren't very difficult and everything is asked from the syllabus only. The course curriculum is very accurate too

I liked how the professors interacted with the students.

Teachings could have been more practical instead of theoretical

Faculties are quite approachable in a broader sense, they do provide assistance. Exams usually happen twice every semester. One is right one month after the semester starts called CA and is of usually 25 marks with some internal assignments and then one is right before the end of the semester called ESE which is of 80 marks in theory and includes lab exams as well.

Soumya Vidyavidhyar is Superfluous!!

Student Snaps:

This part is something where people can be critical but not me as in my books faculties here takes great care. In a class where there are 70+ students knowing names of everyone is not an easy thing and yet our faculties knows that. To me this deal is bigger than that they something do things which are partiality but everyone favours their favourite. So instead of complaining become the favourites.

Every student college life

I liked how professors are keeping topic up to date

The faculty is really worst in case of relationship with students they really dont care and mostly run like government staff even if they took their branch out of Mumbai University. If the student give his/her paper for rechecking they charge mobey for that and if the student dont provide it then they will deduct the marks

The college was too good

The reason of not liking the faculty is they too strict and vary mean. The faculty was set easy Paper for students they can easily pass out but because of some absent they can't pass out . Priya ma'am was too good because she understands and she appreciate

Somaiya : Park of Knowledge

A faculty per twenty students. Faculty is indeed friendly to us and are approachable to nearly all the students. Our Vice Principal Miss Brighanza she is indeed sweetest. Two semesters per year which are not tht difficult and most students clear it and course curriculum is fairly relevant.
