- I liked how the professors interacted with the students.
- The campus and canteen, all of the infrastructure is commendable
- The curriculum was set up in an effective way

- There weren’t many placement opportunities as such
- Teachings could have been more practical instead of theoretical
- Management was out of place at times like scheduling the lectures or exams
Course Curriculum Overview:
Curriculum is quite up to date and relevant considering the real world approaches as well as future academic studies. But the technologies used can be a bit more modern and in line with the current. Teaching methods could be improved too.

- These university takes a good care of their Alumni
- Canteen is excellent. We have a vegetarian campus

- Long college hours made us very tired and there was hardly any time to do self study
- No internship was provided which made us have 0 experience
- Practical need to be performed in groups not individually
Course Curriculum Overview:
The ciriculum was designedin a way that we got to learn all the disciplines involved in biotechnolgy. This course prepared us for real world applications such as STEM, DNA Fingerprinting, PCR and other. Still there is scope of improvement to make students learn from advanced instruments rather than the basic ones.The frequency of exams were decent there were gaps of almost 4-5 months between every semester.

- The campus life is very happening, every few days there is something or the other event going on. Somaiya is never silent
- In biotechnology department, be it students or faculties the ratio of girls is more than the boys
Dislikes
- The faculties are baised which is one of the biggest drawbacks
- There is no placements for undergraduate students in this department, the course curriculum is very hectic
- The administration office is not cooperative at all
Course Curriculum Overview:
I love medical biology and microorganisms, this course provided me an opportunity to study these.
The curriculum 60% prepares for the real world and 90% for further academic pursuits.
Improvement in curriculum is more practical knowledge is required, teaching should be more of practical, exams are at proper imtervals

- Great faculty that makes sure you get thorough with the subjects
- Great exposure to sports, so many options to explore from
- Amazing campus, you can go to any library and any where to study
Dislikes
- Nothing ad such go be noted, it is good overall
- The campus is too big to be roaming for lectures time to time XD
- Sports fee that they charge for second year is way too high
Course Curriculum Overview:
I always wanted to pursue computer science, but I was very confused since I always like medical as well, but the faculty at Somaiya help me recover and know that what I really like, and what I should really dive into so they help me make decision by then I should choose IT or CS and hopefully I am doing very good in computer science. There are many man faculty members that are ready to help you any time. The timings of exams are six months each. I recently had an exam in December and I'll be starting with my second semester. There is not many areas of improvement in the course curriculum and teaching methods, but it would be great if they provided with a prior syllabus note so that we can start with our preparation beforehand. Overall I just love how they treat us and how they make us feel good academically.

- Campus of collage is very huge and nice and canteen is much much good and clean
- Teachers are also very great ! They have a good teaching skills
- Events are held every month by collages in which students can interact with each other

My parents are already a ex somaiya student so obviously i have to go there
Very well it prepares me for real world applications or for further academic pursuits
I guess they must imrove with the timing of collage practicals

I subjects were all relevant to the course but mostly theory was focused rather than practicals which is more required in this particular field. It would have been great if practicals were more focused rathet than just theory
