The first year rant

I always wanted to pursue computer science, but I was very confused since I always like medical as well, but the faculty at Somaiya help me recover and know that what I really like, and what I should really dive into so they help me make decision by then I should choose IT or CS and hopefully I am doing very good in computer science. There are many man faculty members that are ready to help you any time. The timings of exams are six months each. I recently had an exam in December and I'll be starting with my second semester. There is not many areas of improvement in the course curriculum and teaching methods, but it would be great if they provided with a prior syllabus note so that we can start with our preparation beforehand. Overall I just love how they treat us and how they make us feel good academically.

Since I am in my first year, I have not yet exploited the opportunities available in my college, but as much as I know from the seniors, very good placement and internship opportunities that are provided to you in the second year as well as third year, which also includes Deloitte and the overall internship programmes are really good if you're academically outstanding!

The overall fee is 1,45,000 per year and an increase of around 10k every year if not wrong. There are three main scholarships through the university, acadmic based, earning based, and earning cum acadmeic based. There are flexibilities for category people as well

Main fish that Somaiya Vidya Vihar conducts is aura which is conducted every year and I just got over with it. This year was conducted on 12th and 13th of December They are typically held in the month of December. The books provided library are very very flexible, and so many books are there that you have to choose overall found all of the books I needed at one place, read code in beat management, beat any maths book or anything that I needed. They were always there in the campus if not in one library, then in another, even if I couldn't find international books in the library. I had access to Library, which is Somaiya portal, which basically provides you with the PDF of the folks that are not available on the sports and extra curricular activities are outstanding. You have so many options to choose from from swimming volleyball, cricket score, kabaddi, judo, athletics, and so many options to choose from. I personally loved how to faculty explains everything in minor details. There are various clubs as a Honey mental there is a business club. There is an organisation for every part of the college

I too many colleges, one of them includes the Kelkar College as well as the Bandodkar College, but I really didn't like the campus and the overall structure of their colleges. I looked out for Sam???????? because there was IT as well as CS to cope up with II did not colleges, but it seem appropriate to take admission into Somaiya Vidya Vihar University Yas, since it provided me with a very flexible and structured routine to corporate, there were three rounds. I did not pass the first round since due to some previous changes, but then later I got into the college overall admission process was very easy. You just had to submit your documents after you were selected for the program, and then you could start with your lectures according to the dates and the handbook schedule. My overall admission process and experience was very easy and humble. I was really overwhelmed by the treatment I was given, and I did not expected to be this good. I am happy with my admission.

Somaiya offers dynamic academics and amazing sports faculty to cooperate with. The student to faculty ratio is good too, teachers constantly make an effort to maintain a jolly and focused environment. I love to interact with our coding mentors mrs sunita who always keeps me pinged in day to day tech and ways to tackle problems.

There are so many hangout spots in our campus, which includes the Maggi point that three canteen is the engineering canteen, the science, SK canteen and the other canteen as other than that there are open garden sit down with Chachaa and maybe study with your friends are hostels available to well as boys separate and PG, other than that outside the college, there are radius cafes that you can roam around
