HPNLU- WHAT & HOW

Likes

The environment, the greenery, regional people are sweet and mind their own business.
The faculty is well knowledgeable, smart and is always upto date.

Dislikes

The administration is somewhat insensitive. There is no student body. Thus, there's a huge gap between what student wants and whether the administration is providing it or not.
Only few cafes and essentials shops nearby. Not much to explore within and near the college. Makes it monotonous. Poor campus life.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is updated each year. Even if the syllabus lacks certain essential reading material, the teachers themselves provide PDFs and relevant reading material for the same. The PDFs for case laws, articles, judgements are provided by law teachers to the students so that they come equipped to the classes. There's always a difference between theory and the real world. You can learn and write the exams but it depends on you how you apply the knowledge practically. According to me, the timings for semester exams is adequate. The exams are not at all difficult. You must pay attention to the teachers in classrooms.

Living near mountains is a real bliss. Faculty is very cooperative.

Dislikes

University does not have it's own hostels.
University is 22km away from shimla. So don't be mistaken that it's in shimla.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum of University is good. It is evolving every year. This time University has included history and psychology in it, making it more helpful. During the span of 5 years, we learn around 45 subjects.

HPNLU, Shimla University Review

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose the course because of my passion for law and social sciences. The faculty to student ratio has significantly improved now. The teaching method varies from faculty to faculty but all of them are learned and make their best efforts to give you knowledge. There are two term exams- mid sems and end sems. There is one assignment with viva for each subject per semester. The papers are mostly practical and enhance one's knowledge in text and practice.

You just give fee in any mode like paytm karo, google pay, phone pe, internet banking, no transparency is provided even you go for RTI. They will prefer to shut down the university rather than providing transparency. Fee is feasible, affordable

Fee Structure And Facilities:

The fess of college is approximately 2lakhs and fifty thousand per annum.The college accepts several modes of payment like demand draft or fess can also be given online by sbi collect. The mess fees and other fees is separate. The process of submitting the fees is quite easy and it doesn't take much time.

The charge structure is somewhat practical considering different NLUs. It has a yearly expense of rupees 2,53,500 including education costs, lodging charges, mess charges, sports expenses and every single other charge. It is possible as per me and it might change from individual to individual.

College Life: An insight by student itself.

Fee Structure And Facilities:

College fees is quite heavy i.e. 2.5 lacs. The college accepts fees in cash and online payments. Yes there is transparency in fee breakdown and college doesn't demand any extra charge for admission. This shows the transparency level of college. College is honest in its own way.

Hpnlu a decent NLU

Fee Structure And Facilities:

The fee structure is kind of expensive considering various other NLUs it has a annual fee of rupees 2,53,500 including tution fees ,hostel fees mess fees, sports fee and all other fees.It is expensive according to me and it may change from person to person.
