The overall course curriculam is excellent in terms of relevence and comprehensiveness .the curriculam at HPNLU is designed or prepred with a strong focus on legal research and clinical legal education ,which is primary factor in my decision to enroll.

internship opportunities review:- it is nearly impossible to think about our campus being missing a single location ,which is devoted to internship ,courtesy of placement cell.such giants as TCS,Infosys and HDFC bank are never short of someone like us who would like to be a software developer intern ,data analyst ,or a maketing trainee .technological positions tend to cost between 10,000 and 25,000 every month on average . thanks to such gigs ,we do get to work on actual projects ,such as optimizing database systems or market research of consumer goods .it is the right between the knowledge we get in lectures and that companies require ,thus we find ourselves polishing our skills or marking sales pitches out of this world .to be honest ,the most exciting thing is that we will be able to establish a professonal network even prior to our graduation

life at HPNLU shimla is both a challenge of studying and dynamic campus atmosphere which is combined with beautiful landscape of Ghandal SOCIAL ASPECTS AND CLUBS :- major organizations such as moot courts committee are stirring up ripples among the students community and drag a flagship national competition down annually . the rotaract club ensures that we make sure that we participate in bllod drives , and environment campaigns . other major annual occasions are aarohan during the month of july and the foundation day week during the month of sep ,and those invlove both academic and cultural programs. GUEST AMENITIES AND FACILITIES :- LIBRARY :- A heart knowledgeable sanctuary ,which includes over 8,100 books and vast computer databases ,such as westlaw ,ssc online and lexisNexis and can be accessed remotely on the refread platform . CLASSROOM`S :- The university is furnished with 12 smart classrooms that have morden teaching facilities ,high speed Wi-Fi and interactive digital boards SPORT`s:- although there is an existing badmintion court ,there is modern gymnasium ,and indoor sporting activities such as table tennis and a complete sports ground is in progress.

hostel facilities and accomodation . the hostel at HPNLU are typically occupied with 2 students in 1st year .every room contains chairs,beds,study table and cupboards . quality and design of the meals:the mess varies the menu periodacially and offers the foods of north indian cuisine.the food is hygienic and reminds of home yet the most of the students think that it is a boring bit .the sunday and festivals have special meals that are served . registartion and affordability :hostel rooms are included in the admistration procedure and the majority of the students have to have a room .the hostel costs are cheper then the private law schools and are entitled on the university annual fee. off campus :the majority of the students remain at the campuses ,and there are those senior students who prepfer staying at the guest houses in adjacent areas such as ghandal or the shimla city.it is,however ,difficult to travel there since it is hilly.

the selection of HPNLU ,shimla was informed choice given that it was leading NLU and also beacause of its distinct academic atmosphere . comaparision and choice of colleges . as i was applying to the leading NLU`s such as NLSIU, NALSAR and private such as symbiosis law school . although i got admission NLU prayagraj and lower ranked NLU`S . I selected HPNLU due to the tough programe that is being offered and the prestige of NLU label , which is more recognised in legal school communities than most of the private law schools . ADMISSION PROCESS HPNLU is offered an admission process that is simplified by CLAT * eligibility- the candidates should have 10+12 with minimum 45 % (40% in case of SC/ST) *Entrance exam - CLAT is the only acceptable exam. *cutoff- gen category the closing position is generally in the 1500-2200 range ,thus it is stiff. * experience :- the centralized counseling (CAP) of CLAT consortium made the entire part of the process to be vivid , hassle free.

faculty to student ratio is not that bad but it depends on the department . others are highly sociable,helpful and would go out of their way to assist us even after the classes have ended but some are a little aloof and appear not to respond at all.one or two teachers are exceptional due to their clear explanation ,mentorship and fairnessin grading and the rest are not so popular dur to their thick teaching methods or failure to have interactions with others .the structure of the course is good ,though the marking scheme seems to be rather rigid and subject to subject.examination are not very difficult ,and many of us fail due to the length of the syllabi rather than acute lack of revision time and the fact that practical knowledge is not adequately emphasized but rather on abstract responses .

ON CAMPUS LIFE :- hostel rules- the main gate closes sharply at 9:30 PM and then all people must be back in the collage before the time or the gate would be closed unless you have a written permission of the administration. facilities:- the library is open 8AM-8PM monday -saturday so you have ample time to cram.subsequently ,your preferred places to go at the late hours to work out or relex at the Gym and the indoor courts . safety:- campus is very safe at night :24/7 gurds and it is o nly a stone throw away to himachal pradesh judical academy . OFF CAMPUS HANGOUTS :- SHIMLA CITY:-since the campus is about 20 KM from the city centre,students typically visits the MALL ROAD OR THE RIDGE ROAD on the weekends
