LR group of legal study solan the college was very nice ?? and teachers are very nice ???? ????and College was so good .and campus was more big and beautiful.but discuss in all the staffs to snookers was provided for hostels stunds

Campus Life

The staff was so good the extra sarcular in games and others participate and every Sunday and Saturday was the game mach in ground hostel and campus of the other other dipartment in the college to like in basketball court

Hostel Facilities

The room and pg was the oachghat zero point in more most and beautiful and nice view in the room more room low price rent and nice facility meal was poor by the hostel mess in lr group of institutes of solan

The college was so nice i chose in college to more reviews in the college and most like by the other students in the cheak review and like other in the students and experience for students life and others

College are best student ina college and students result are good and satisfied result by the teachers are good teacher for keeping a helpful for teachers in law department are teachers so good and more facilities

Night Life

The group of solan was gym was so coll and good but before gym was very poor quality but 1000 rupey in hostel students in more charges fees in add to all samster in change the gym new machines and new dumbles

Growth and Ground reality : five year at HPNLU

Likes

The postive side , the acedemic environment is supportive .
the faculty members are knowledgeable,supportive,approachable,and dedicated to student development.
The campus life is so engaging ,with good peer interaction,cultural activities , and a healthy academic atmosphere .

Dislikes

some campus amenities and hostels require better maintenance.
placement opportunities could be expanded further with stronger industry collaboration .
campus amenities such as food services , recreational facilities require upgrading .

Placement Experience:

the following is the bare bones of accommodations in HPNLU lavery centre HPNLU placements and carrer prospects :-the HPNLU students are usually allowed to have campus placements staring in the 9th semester .the placement cell is only quite young ,and thus developing at NLU . Boutique law firms and companies such as link legal and lakshmikumaran and sridharan also conduct top recruiting , and a few of the students also conduct top recruiting ,and a few of the students also get the PPO,s after the internship . packages the largest packages are normally between 10-12 LPA,with an average package of between 6-7 LPA placement percentage approximately 40-50 % of students seeking corporate jobs end up being placed off campus . plans after degree :on a personal note ,i will be exploring the world of litigation or the courts ,as the degree offerings provided by the university provide a good base in regards to competitive tests .

The thing that I disliked is it's mess food and it is not that good

Placement Experience:

In himachal pradesh national law University Shimla the placement are not great If we see the previous trends only six students got placement and the highest was 18 lakh per annum and lowest was 5 lakh Student become eligible for the placement in 5th year and are only eligible if there got cgpa above than 7 and have not secured a back. Only 30 % student in batch got placement from college. My plans as of now are not decided by now

HPNLU- A SERENE EXPERIENCE

Likes

the things i like the most here is the weather of shimla it’s so peaceful here , the campus is so calming and also the faculty is great here, great seniors you will get great networking here, wonderful committees
the campus is equipped with separate gym facilities for male and female students and open badminton court indoor sports high speed wifi connectivity

Dislikes

the mess food here is not great we are literally begging them to make good food
infrastructure is improving but still not at par with older nlus while scenic it’s quite far from urban amenities public transport frequency is limited and weather conditions in winter can disrupt access

Placement Experience:

let me clear this out the placements are not great as it looks but they are trying to place students and expanding the placements cell that students would get the opportunity and only a small number of companies visits campus and many students mostly obtain internship/ placements outside of the campus process the placement cell is still maturing

Ups and Downs of Himachal Pradesh National Law University, Shimla by Mayra Nargotra

Likes

The faculty is really good. They are helpful and easily approachable. They teach in both hindi and english that helps students understand better. Various real life examples, practical activities, group discussions are conducted.
The surroundings are beautiful with mountains and nice weather. It helps with focusing on study. The location is attractive.
The library is very useful with a lot of resources and e-library that is easily accessible.

Dislikes

The locality does not have a lot of shops or facilities there.
The hostel facilities are not that good, since only 1 hostel is in campus for 1st year girls and then it shifts to a distance with rented hostels outside campus.

Placement Experience:

College does provide placement however not up to the mark. The placement cell is working hard to provide the best for its students, rest the NLU tag really matters and fetches students work if not from the campus but independently as well. I personally have no plans to go for a placement and so do several others at HPNLU they are focused on judiciary or other government exams.

Well Qualified University in the eye of myself

Overall the structure is nice but i felt it must be improved and look sophisticated or attractive.
Well, In campus we all are playing together or interaction with seniors and faculty members is very good their way of talking and friendly nature keep us motivated
Our mentors help us to understand the criteria of the university and maintain the discipline.or faculties have potential power to teach us by briefing every small topics and important chapters and their teaching methods are so understoodable.

Dislikes

The canteen tea is not so tasty or there is no enough space to sit in the canteen
Sometimes construction work is going on and the sound of the work felt very crumble
Library only issues book for 7 days it should be extended to 1 month

Placement Experience:

After 4th semester students are eligible to get placement in campus. There so many companies visited in the campus placement such as Yash Appliances, Scorpions ltd., and other tech or pharmaceutical companies. My mentor tell me about one girl who had offered highest package in the campus placement she is from the Management department b.com course. Its around 37 lakh per annum. 60% of students out of 100% to get placement in campus. My plan after degree is to serve a firm as a corporate lawyer or if no than i open Advisory office.

Welcome to Shoolini University

Likes

This college is very neat and clean . And people who works here clean this college everyday.
Campus of this college is really very big . It really looks like a small city.
Teacher are here is very cooperative. They understand students feeling really very much.

Dislikes

This college is very far from Solan. This is about 15 kms away from Solan. So you have to travel long way.
My friend live in hostel. He tell me that hostel food is not good.
There is not good parking area for cars. So some students who owns cars can't par their cars here.

Placement Experience:

Placement is not for my course. But some course you can get placement like MBA, B.tech etc. And in 3rd semester you are eligible for placement in that courses. No offer made because placement are not for my course. Highest average offer is like 5lakh. 90 to 95 % students get placements. My plans after getting the degree is , i want to settle in government sector.

HPNLU- WHAT & HOW

Likes

The environment, the greenery, regional people are sweet and mind their own business.
The faculty is well knowledgeable, smart and is always upto date.
The non teaching staff is friendly, sweet too. We get along easily.

Dislikes

The administration is somewhat insensitive. There is no student body. Thus, there's a huge gap between what student wants and whether the administration is providing it or not.
Only few cafes and essentials shops nearby. Not much to explore within and near the college. Makes it monotonous. Poor campus life.
Poor mess food. The mess facilities could be improved to a great extent.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is updated each year. Even if the syllabus lacks certain essential reading material, the teachers themselves provide PDFs and relevant reading material for the same. The PDFs for case laws, articles, judgements are provided by law teachers to the students so that they come equipped to the classes. There's always a difference between theory and the real world. You can learn and write the exams but it depends on you how you apply the knowledge practically. According to me, the timings for semester exams is adequate. The exams are not at all difficult. You must pay attention to the teachers in classrooms.

Placement Experience:

Second last year of the student in that course are eligible for the placement and internship are after every year Companies for placement are - Tech Mahindra Ltd , Outline system India Pvt Ltd , Winni.in , clerisy solution , Roots Analysis ,school Ipad , cs soft solution , etc their are 35 plus top companies are their for the placement Highest deatails - i don't know about these things percentage who are getting placement - I don't know about that too My plan after the graduation is to join a legal firm and then practice for jag interview
