The campus life seems to be primarily focused on individual endeavours and achievements rather than promotions events enduring social and cultural values. The university has provided free access to a wide variety of online journals such as LexisNexis and Jstor. However the library seems to be rich but rather short of books required when considered along with the number of students. Few social events are held such as the Freshers party an Foundation day. Sports events such as basketball and table tennis are held. Students run various intellectual groups providing a way for students to interact with each other.

Annual intra sports fest is conducted named DRONA. Classrooms are also very good. Various committees and centres have been made which helps the students to get an experience of how the work is done in the corporate world.

The numerous committes and centres keep the campus as vibrant as possible with their events and volunteer works such as drives and hostings. There are: The Debating Society, MCC, ADR, IPR, Rotatry Club, LSC, CWCR and various others who shall be taking in SoPs' and interviews during the selection process when applying to, as a member. The library has daily newspaper subscription along with various recent publications from the field of law, economics and politics. Books for various courses and specializations are available is sufficient quantity. The library isn't as spacious as other NLUs' but is expanding its area with time. One can issue a book for 7-10 days with their college ID. The digital library is fulfilled with various databases such as manupatra, SCC, Hein Online, Jstor etc which one can access via their college email-id. A number of sports fests are organized throughout the year (every semester), though we lack an adequate campus ground for conducting outdoor sports such as volleyball, football and basketball. Indoor sports like table tennis, chess, carrom etc have a separate sports room allocated to them. Boys and Girls have separate gyms with adequate and well-maintained facilties and lighting. Academic events are given a priority over campus fests and events such as Moot Court and ADR. Festival celebrations are mostly student led and organized by themselves. Freshers and Foundation day are the only grand celebrations you shall observe in this university. The classrooms are acquainted with smart boards, white boards and projectors with great wifi connectivity. The infrastructure includes Moot Court Hall and Conference Hall, as can be seen in various official HPNLU videos on youtube. Halls and smaller classrooms are allocated as per need of the faculty.

ONE OF THE MAJOR PERKS OF THE UNIVERSITY IS ITS HEART THE LIBRARY. WHERE U CAN GET VAST NO. OF BOOKS SPECIALLY LAW JOURNALS and amazing literature sources. THE E LIBRARY ALSO OFFERS GOOD SOURCES AND SERVICES LIKE EBC MANUPATRA AND OTHERS . THERE ARE SEVERAL COMMITTEE AND RESEARCH CENTRE IN COLLEGE. EVENT SUCH AS DRONA FOR SPORTS AND SMANVAYA FOR MEDIATION AND NATIONAL MOOTS ARE HELD FRESHERS AND FOUNDATION DAYS IS ALSO HELD .

Due to hostels being situated mainly outside the college, there exist a lot of distance between all the hostels of girls and boys. Thus, the only place to interact is college. This just causes a monotony. Foundation day is held each year in October. On this day, several competitions are organized. The college does not organize much programs. There are no festival. Campus life is poor. Earlier we had a very small library. It was renovated. There a lot of books and we have a vast E-library. Students can seek the help of library staff in accessing E-Resources who are very helpful. There are projectors, e board in various classrooms. Each class has excellent excess to wifi. It's a cool atmosphere here. The students and the faculty are always excited about the sports activities. Sports day, sports competition are organized almost every semester. The college has different committees and centres and clubs on different subjects such as Forensic Sciences, ADR, Cyber Law, Disabilities, Moot.

The university doesn't organise any fests which is the worst thing about this college. It is also located in an isolated area where we have to walk at least 1 km even for a packet of chips. It is 23km away from main shimla which makes life more difficult here. It regularly organises sports fests but they are not fun as University doesn't even has it's own ground.

The campus life is not good and there are no fests organized. The events are held for only moot court and ADR annually. Only fresher's day and Foundations day is celeberated on 10 September. Himachal day is sometimes celebrated on 15 April. Independence day ;15 August also remains unceleberated due to heavy rainfalls and republic day ; 26 Jan due to winter internship break and cold weather remains never celebrated. Classrooms are well fitted with smart boards and projectors, we have a moot court hall and a committee room which is technically advanced and well furnished. Sport activities are pretty flourishing we have Zelus, National sports and various other sport events. We have a basketball court , badminton court(open), TT table , half basketball court and gym in the campus. Moot court activities , writing competitions, debate competitions and nukkad nataks are held. There are few student run groups such as Cognetio Aternus and paricharcha. There are various commities and clubs.

There are little to no facilities for extracurricular, especially in terms of fests etc. The extracurricular culture especially in moot courts is very good and students have won several laurels. Sports facilities are bare minimum with only a TT table and a football field 10km away from campus. There are research centres and committees working on different things such as debating, ADR etc.

The campus is still under construction but will be complete in about a year. The view is breathtaking as it is surrounded by hills. The library is still growing but has all required course books and also books for casual readings.

Gender ratio is equal. No student bodies exists. Cultural societies are there. Tolerance is there. Lgbt committee is respected here. Different religion. Different people. Sexual orientation right. Dust is all around even more than abohar. Hindu muslim sikh christian all are here. Feel free to come
