Student Snaps:

Faculty:

faculty to student ratio is not that bad but it depends on the department . others are highly sociable, helpful and would go out of their way to assist us even after the classes have ended but some are a little aloof and appear not to respond at all.one or two teachers are exceptional due to their clear explanation ,mentorship and fairnessin grading and the rest are not so popular dur to their thick teaching methods or failure to have interactions with others .the structure of the course is good ,though the marking scheme seems to be rather rigid and subject to subject.examination are not very difficult ,and many of us fail due to the length of the syllabi rather than acute lack of revision time and the fact that practical knowledge is not adequately emphasized but rather on abstract responses .

Faculty:

A class generally holds about 50-60 students. The faculty is interactive and is keen to help the students on related subject matters. The faculty members I like include Dr Aayush Raj and Dr Honey Kumar. Dr Raj twists your perspective of contemporary world and helps you appreciate your culture without your view being muddled by the western concepts. Dr Kumar is ever so patient in explaining his concepts and loves to help out a student whenever the opportunity is presented. There is no one in particular that I am displeased with and clashes between the faculty and students are extremely rare. For each semester, two exams are conducted; Mid semester exams and Final semester exams. No exam is conducted at an easy level. The exams analyse the critical analysis skills of students and gauge their capabilities by putting them in different theoretical situations. Only a few students fail to clear the exam. The marking scheme seems to be strict. The course curriculum helps the students to view and analyse different subjects in the light of the legal context.

The Faculty is good. Some of them are not as good they just come and teach there is no interaction whatsoever. Also the Marking system is also sometimes biased which frustrates the student's, but overall the faculty is good.

Faculty:

The university has a group of well-educated, hard-working and eminent personalities who have contributed to great pieces of publication and policy-making originating from NLUs' and upholding Ph.Ds' , it is a pleasure learning from them (you shall meet the legends when you arrive). The faculties are highly approachable and friendly during the teaching hours and even after that, they appreciate doubts and questions . I've personally seeked mentorship and guidance from various faculties and everyone has been kind enough to go beyond their way to help their student. The examination structure is divided into mid-sems and end -sems of 25 marks and 50 marks respectively, the remaining 25 are kept for internal and presentation grading, constituting 100 marks each semester. Readings and case laws are given on a daily basis along with lectures. The examinations are not based on rote-learning, rather on application and analyzing therefore understanding of concept is a must since the questions are not direct. The ratio of success to failure is negligible unless you have given up on studies and decide to roam off in the mountains. The course curriculum is in line with the UGC guidelines and is updated every semester for every incoming batch. Though, it would be appreciated if extra-curricular activities are inculcated during lectures and are not restricted till the times of assignment allocation.

Faculty:

There are 29 teachers teaching different subjects to different batches. The strength of new batches since 2022-27 is increasing progressively. The faculty to student relationship is good. Students can approach teachers in case of doubts or any issue in the college hours or after the classes ends. Personally, Dr. Chanchal, Santosh sir, Alok sir, Mrityunjay Sir, Navdtiya ma'am teach exceptionally well. They're well aware of the course curriculum and bring practical knowledge to their teaching. Dr.Rohit is best when it comes to make a class really interactive. Mid semesters and End Semesters are held each year. Mid semesters exams are for 25 marks and End Sems for 50. Presentation and Assignment for 25. The exam papers focus on analytical and critical thinking making you think our of the box and bring practical answers. Those found cheating or doing any foul play maybe debard from writing the examinations. It is easy to pass these exams. Syllabus is updated each year.
