The faculty members were very helpful at every step of the course. Their teaching method was also up to the mark. The term exams were also as per the given schedule. The exam papers were not so easy it required a great knowledge of the subject.

Students of both bachelors and masters degree are eligible for placements. Many companies come to the university to absorb the students. I have not planned to take placement as my wish is to join an MBA course after BCom Hons. Almost 90% of students get placement from the university.

Placement cell is very active in our college. Both undergraduate and postgraduate students can avail placement opportunities in their final year. I am a fresher therefore I don't have any personal experience of placements but as per the information provided by our teacher, around 60% of the students got placed in 2020. Companies like outlook, Calvin Klein, and myriad financial firms visit the campus.

St. Xaviers is a Jesuit institution and the discipline and their motto of excellence is what made me choose the university. I always wanted to join a Jesuit institution because I did my schooling from a Jesuit institution.

College infrastructure of St. Xaviers is very good. Classes have all the basic and modern facilities inluding projectors. Libraries are big enough. Also u can accessnto library through online portal. Wi-fi is there all around campus. The living spaces is clean and food provided in canteen is also hygienic

St. Xaviers College,Kolkata is one of the most prestigious college in India. The college's reputation that they have built for 160 years from its foundation is one that shines on your CV. It has not only achieved a golden ranking in UG/PG studies but also for the variety of non-academic events. These non-academic events cater to every sector of your life and thus let's you gain experience for something that you will encounter in your life. I think these were some of the points that steers your decision towards St. Xaviers College apart from others.

After the fourth semester, the college offers jobs average per month are 20000-25000 for the students with a percentage of 80 or above or whoever who is capable of the job highest is 50000. After graduation, I'll be pursuing an MBA.

The brand name of this college is very high. Its a new college with an amazing and beautiful campus. It's very renowned and it offers a large number of courses. My marks were low but i got admission in this college so I joined it

The positive side is the university provides ample of oppurtunities to the students in every field of work. Everyone gets the oppurtunity in extra curricular activities. They provide us with library books and ebooks as well. There is no need of spending money in buying books from outside. There is no such negative side of the University but the timings are a bit of concern which extends upto 6 hours.

Our college is very new but i think of the weakness is some of the faculties who don't have experience in teaching. Other than this most of the things in the university is pretty good. The environment is very good and you will make some good friends here.
