SXUK Faculty

The university's faculty is highly qualified, supportive, and approachable, with many holding advanced degrees and extensive teaching experience. The faculty-to-student ratio for the B.Com (Morning) course is 1:90, while it is lower in the science and arts departments. The Department of Mass Communication has 8 professors, each holding a PhD.

Each department has at least 20 faculty members, although the university is currently facing a faculty shortage. Exams are conducted twice per semester: a mid-term (50 marks) and an end-semester exam (80 marks). Continuous Internal Assessment (CIA) exams contribute 20 marks to the semester results, with additional marks for attendance and assignments, totaling 100 marks per subject.

Faculty employ various teaching methods, including interactive activities, PowerPoint presentations, and mentoring, and encourage students to engage in group projects and learning activities.
