Good for management student

Likes

Campus is beautiful and big with full greenery
Infrastructure is good with hostel facilities available inside the campus

Dislikes

Rule and regulations is very tight and this is not likeable
Attendance compulsory minimum 75% other wise you can’t able to sit for sem exam

Internships Opportunities:

College provide internships for student many company visits for summer placement and they pay good amount of stipend and student who are interested in they can apply for Many opportunities are available

The Xaverian Experience

Likes

One of the best things about this college is that it’s heat proof, all the classrooms including halls and auditorium, it’s all air conditioned.
The campus size is huge, there’s a lot to do and a lot of activities can be pursued in the campus.

Dislikes

The college administration is extremely strict about attendance.
The attendance restriction makes it hard for students who wish to pursue professional courses like CA/CS/CFA.

Internships Opportunities:

As far as I know, this college does offer internships but I cannot name the companies right now, as a UG student, I have just entered the college 2 months ago and I'm trying my best to gather all the knowledge.

A Bitter Sweet Experience In SXUK

Likes

The curriculum of the college is very precise and accurate.
The campus is very clean filled with greenery and the classrooms and bathrooms are clean and tidy.

Dislikes

The strict rule the college has with 75% attendance
We cannot enter our classes after 10 am not even being late for 1 minute

Internships Opportunities:

For our 3 year course in ug level there was no internship opportunities provided but for pg level there is a compulsory internship program which is conducted. But in the upcoming years which is the 4 year degree course there is a compulsory internship program.

Pro's and cons of SXUK

Likes

The Campus life is pretty good, there are lots of the events taking place which help us to gain extra knowledge and also gives us exposure. The architecture is also pretty big and spacious. There are a lot of extra curricular activities involved here
The course I'm studying that is BMS , Bachelors in Management Studies, has got some pretty good faculty members. They help us in every possible way. Classroom learning is also very easy to us nowadays. Every teacher is very well qualified & dignified

Dislikes

How strict the university is with the attendance
There is no AC in the hostel rooms and the in time is too early

Internships Opportunities:

Few courses get internships in every semester as they have to complete certain hours intership duties. Interships are then provided by the university to the students to get to learn more about their course.

The faculty is super great and humble with you.

There is no such thing I really disliked here

Internships Opportunities:

The University has a dedicated placement cell in which we could apply for internships. The students are allowed to apply for internships from 2nd year onwards, students can apply for summer internship which has dedicated credits. Companies like Deloitte, KPMG, EY etc have offered internship.

My University Saga.

St. Xavier's University had pretty much open area and the campus was really big. It had many open spaces where students could do their own work and spend some good time.
It was well equipped with computer labs which consisted of MAC computers as well as windows computer which really helped in learning new skills.

Dislikes

Our college was in a deserted part of the city and had very less public transport options which led to difficulties for attending class frequently.
The attendance system is very poor. There is a strict rule for 75% attendance but won't approve sick leaves or Internship leaves.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements from 5th semester onwards. Speaking of the mass communication placements it was really terrible, we didn't receive the company's we were told wound come for placements. All of our placement opportunities were of general streams mostly for b.com courses. The highest package was offer 3 LPA form our class from a company which was not very popular. Most of the students from our course is opting for master degree. Personally I am looking for internship opportunities on various platforms.

The only St. Xavier's University, Kolata Review that you will ever need

Likes

Liked the infrastructure which was excellent. The campus was clean, green and secure. The buildings were wellbuilt and so were the classroom. The canteen was great
The university had many fest, events and societies for the students to participate in.

Dislikes

The regulat and strictness with the attendence was very tiring.
6 classes were held everyday and at the end noone had anymore energy left.

Internships Opportunities:

The companies and law firms that offered internships are many but the one I remember is Khaitan and Co. law firm. They were not stipend. The internship started from the third semester's end and went on till the tenth semester.

SXUK: The review

Likes

The college has a big playground for outdoor sports.
The faculties are humble, friendly and co operative.

Dislikes

The classrooms are not too big for a lot many students.
The average placement of the college is not so good

Internships Opportunities:

Different companies like TCS and Wipro provide internship opportunities to the students and give exposure to the students. We have done presentation and real life projects which will help us in future.

I love the library of the College we also have a digital library.
I love the supporting nature of all the professors

Internships Opportunities:

They provide required internships in 6-semester graduation and obviously in the post-graduation also they do provide an internship. These internships are of value and help the students to get into good MNCs with work experience.

Placement Experience:

From semester 5 students are enrolled for placements. various companies like PWC, byjus visit the company. I got an offer from more supermarket. The college tries to pace all the students almost; my plan is to opt for an MBA.
