Academics IIM Indore offers multiple programs ranging from the undergraduate level to doctoral programs (Ph.D). The courses are mostly spread across three terms in a year, with a fixed number of credits and sessions for each course and term. The curriculum is rigorous and there is a system of DCPs if a student fails in a course. Academic dishonesty is prohibited and an F is awarded for such cases. All the courses have relative grading and academic performance is a key component in the overall scenario. Time table is structured such that professors can take classes in any slot from 9 am till 9 pm everyday as all the programs are residential. Faculty A Ph.D. is necessary for all the core subject professors, for electives it depends on the department of the subject. There are professors who have their degrees from ISI, IITs, IIMs and other top universities of respective domains. After classroom interactions and research projects with professors is a common phenomenon. There are teaching associates with subject-specific specializations to help the students and faculty in academic tasks and evaluation purposes.

Fees and Financial Aid

Okay starting from the fees 1st semester it is 66,150 then 2nd to 4th sem it is 64,900 so in a year 1 lakh 31 thousand is the fee structure..which means in 2years to complete masters 2lakhs andhalf we have to pay. For now i have already paid 20 ,000 for the admission the rest we have to pay 40,150 Compared to my colleages who have studied abroad the fees here in Shillong is more expensive..for them 1 lakh will be enough for 2years masters degree because thete fees comes somewhere betweeen 20 to 25 thousand per semester but there are other colleges too which are more expensive for example Assam don bosco university is more expensive than Edmunds Apart from the fees the students have to pay from their own pockets for their fieldworks expenditure which we always go twice a week so if we get placements in agencies which are far almost 500 to 700 it will cost us for thr taxi fare ,food etc. We also have to pay for our rural camp and study tour..which they take us abroad. Yes the college do provide scholardhips nad i've recieved the scholarship thrice. No the college fee is the same for everyone .

Fees and Financial Aid

Sri Krishna Arts and Science College Coimbatore, where I studied PG ( Masters of Social Work). The campus environment is very good and full of greenary. And it's near to a forest. There are plenty of canteens, When coming to the Course fee, for me it take 200000 ( including everything). for completing MSW I don't remember the tuition fees and all. But it's affordable for all the people to study from Sri Krishna Arts and Science College. It's a luxury college but any one can study from there. Actually I don't like the college due to many reasons the management is very worst management and staffs in MSW are also very bad. In my 1yr I was committed in road accident, but they said that it is because me but it is not. There are so many accidents taking place in the campus itself.

Campus Life

In Sri Krishna Arts and Science College Coimbatore don't have any extra curricular activities, festival, technical festival, nothing in Sri Krishna Arts and Science College Coimbatore. They have seminars and workshops only, no sports day and arts day. They won't allow us to do any thing, we have study and study. They don't have any social group and all. They have only NSS group only. Class rooms are good.

The reason I chosen this course is by my peer relationship but later I find myself more eager to learn about my course and I work for it and the observation visit and field works were really helpful for us to face the real world races Teaching can be improved by using ppt or more interaction

Course Curriculum Overview

It depends upon each course that is taken. Now since I took BA English as my UG, it was a great experience of learning and gaining knowledge from the faculty. They used to keep extra add on course and weekly seminars and guest lectures for the students to improve in the English language. There is an language lab for that seperately. Now I am currently doing my MSW in the same very campus and just a week ago came back from my Rural camp. It was the best experience of my life. MSW is a worth taking courses in this college. The weekly twice field works gives us more knowledge about the study of theory we do.

Fees and Financial Aid

I have a long relationship with this college. Mar Gregorios college is where I completed my UG from in the department of English. Now I have applied for my PG at the very same campus for MSW. In the beginning I had to pay the admission fee of rs.350 for the application form. Later I had to pay the first term amount in total of 33400 in which I got a concession stand for rs. 3000 as I was a previous passed out student.

Course Curriculum Overview

The academic and curriculum are pretty good and very diverse. We the students get opportunities to get into the real world situation where everyweek we have to go for field work without supervision by our faculty. In which we have to deal community base practice and agency base practice. This is where the real opportunity is provided. We should look for solutions by our own self. Eventually, we have to write a mandatory report after every two successful fieldwork and if we are to be absent we have to compensate for absent days. The students also get an opportunity to participate in the rural camp which is basically a practical basis with duration of six days where we the students along with faculties have to go for rural camp which maybe community base or agency base so it is so much experiencing and very helpful in our academics. The rural camp are provided to the only last year students of both bachelor's and master's. The timing of the exam is abit tide. Time is all that matters when there is no time for the academic year the sessional exam takes plays continuesly for about 1week

Faculty

The facilities here is ustm is best. They offer the most amazing experience in teaching. The most best part is that they are young and focuses mostly on the welfare of the students. The exams are conducted on every month ie sessional exams which of 30 marks(3sessionals) and 1 final exam consisting of 100 marks 70 written and 30 internal. Basically in written exam which of 70 marks 20 is of compulsory mcqs carrying 1mark each and 50 description and each carrying 10marks. Well there is no such teacher that i hate all are very Much helpful and lenient and focus on the welfare and growth of the students

Fees and Financial Aid
