Course Curriculum Overview

5

It depends upon each course that is taken. Now since I took BA English as my UG, it was a great experience of learning and gaining knowledge from the faculty. They used to keep extra add on course and weekly seminars and guest lectures for the students to improve in the English language. There is an language lab for that seperately. Now I am currently doing my MSW in the same very campus and just a week ago came back from my Rural camp. It was the best experience of my life. MSW is a worth taking courses in this college. The weekly twice field works gives us more knowledge about the study of theory we do.

Placement Experience

5

Every year there will be a job placement fare where many companies come and visit the campus. It's an open job fare for the students of both UG and PG. Companies such as, Axis Bank, HDFC Bank, muthud finance, Tata technologies, Bharath petrol, Ambuja cement, Applo pharmacy, Sathya Medical etc... all these companies come and the students get an opportunity to use this the first step towards their career starting.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions

I have a long relationship with this college. Mar Gregorios college is where I completed my UG from in the department of English. Now I have applied for my PG at the very same campus for MSW. In the beginning I had to pay the admission fee of rs.350 for the application form. Later I had to pay the first term amount in total of 33400 in which I got a concession stand for rs. 3000 as I was a previous passed out student.

Campus Life

3

NSS, NCC, RED RIBBON CLUB, SPORTS CLUB, ENTREPRENEURS CELL, WOMEN'S CELL, CULTURAL CLUB, LIBRARY SYSTEM. All such extra curricular activities are present and the students are encouraged to go and join any clubs they like to. Every month any of the clubs have a program regarding a valuable topic and engage the students towards a good life.

Admission

This college approached me first, I had applied in three places during covid time and no one had reverted back to me. But MGC did via email. They immediately acted and e-mailed me to come and visit them for the further process of admission. And just like that I walked in and got my addmission. The process is very simple and easy. It wasn't difficult for me. And even others it's the best ways to join here.

Faculty

5

As I mentioned before, I've been a student of MGC since 2020 and from my personal point of view. I have had great experience with the faculty of this college. They have helped me in many ways not only in teaching or education orientationed but also how to live life. They are very friendly and caring towards their students.

I am very interested in my higher education and I am very much interested in field exposure so I choose this course. The relationship between faculty and students is very good and such a useful one in this institution and this course and the students have a good rapport with the faculty members. Faculty members are highly experienced and good knowledge people. The teaching method is mostly discussion and lectures. It's very easy to pass this course with the best guidance.
