Remarks

The college has a whole is a good place to live in with a good amount of Flora and fauna which makes the college stand out from other colleges also we have buildings which were constructed 150 years ago and still stands majestic.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

The course has a well-structured curriculum which makes the course stand apart from other courses. Here we go for fieldwork two days a week which is similar to the practicals. This fieldwork gives the platform to practice what we learn in class for the rest of the days.

Placement Experience

4

In our department we do field placements in agencies and also we have to complete a block placement at the end of the course which gives us job security to some extent. The minimum pay per month would range from 10000 to 15000.

College Events

4

Every department has its own annual events. Apart from that, we as a college have a three-day cultural event called deep woods. We too have Pongal Celebration and women's Day celebration. Interhall sports meet etc.

Fee Structure And Facilities

It's feasible for the Aided stream. It ranges between 23 thousand per semester and 12 thousand in the next semester. Apart from that we also have many scholarships in the college. The SFS stream pay has a different pay structure.

Fees and Financial Aid

Manna Scheme - In this scheme, the staff of the college donates a part of their salary, which is later spent on lunch for the students from poor backgrounds. Through this scheme, a lot number of students are benefited.

Campus Life

4.5

Being in Christ definitely makes you push your limits. It is mandatory for every kid to be a part of at least 2 clubs with participation in external fests, live projects, and research projects. The college does have a few rules like dress codes and other factors such as compliance with rules known as the Christ culture but it's a great place for fun.

Alumni/Alumna

Our college has one of the best alumni associations which has done welfare measures in the college for the past 180 years. And also we have distinguished alumni who come on frequent visits to the college.

Admission

I wanted to have professionalism in doing social work which made me choose MSW. The admission process is initially by written test followed by group discussion and then personal interview where the candidate's percentage and certificates will be verified.

Faculty

4

Our staffs are very much dedicated to the department. Since they are from the same department they mold the students in the same way they are molded. More than just studies the staff has a watch over the life of the students.
