Campus Life

5

The overall experience in this college till now has been fantastic. I consider myself lucky enough to be a part of an environment that provides you with a wonderful academic career and a memorable college life. There have been festival celebrations like pongal, onam, and the annual fest Deep Woods how can a mccian forget that . The 3 - day annual fest is held at the end of the academic year with colours and music popping around in the air uniting students from all other colleges. Seeing the social aspects, there are volunteering organisations as NCC , NSS , Wildlife Club if you are a part of Zoology dept , scrub society and many such co- curriculums which demands your involvement and moulds your social life and character. There are multiple playing grounds which offer all kind of game club like , basketball, football, athletics, badminton etc, there's an indoor stadium with indoor activities built in the campus providing state and national level players from the college every year. The infrastructure is vintaged, with old school vibes pertaining to the facilities and requirements of the students. MCC MRF innovation park is a place in the campus which focuses onto a students interests in innovation and startups.

Admission

The fee structure is affordable for students belonging to humble background. Also anyone would be like to be a part of a college that provides such a vintage and lush green environment. The rich flora and fauna and soothing atmosphere of the campus have enthralled me . You can apply for the college through the college website by filling the application form , after which you will receive an enrollment letter from the college if you are selected. The entire admission process is completely merit - based.

Faculty

5

The faculty members are well qualified each an expertise in their own subject , where they are improving by doing reasearch works in their subject. They keep the students updated with informations and guide them through the course duration. We have 3 Internal Exam and 1semester exam , out of the 3 the marks of two internal tests are considered for final semester exam. The 2 internal exam is based on creative assignment and projects which helps the weak students to secure good marks .

Interview Experience

5

No , there is no such interview or group discussion, the entire selection is completely merit based as I have mentioned earlier. A person has to apply, fill the application form and wait for the enrollment letter or a call from the college .

Night Life

5

MCC runs with both aided and self financed streams , the SFS stream gets over by 6pm . The hall curfew for girls is 7 Pm and for boys 10 pm . The campus is haven of safety as there residential staffs and security guards at every nook and corner to uphold the security of the campus. The college library works till 8:30 pm at night which also offers UPSC classes, students can seat there and have a good chit chat with a wide range of books provided. There is a cafeteria providing breakfast , snacks and lunch , one can go , sit there be at ease. Also beside the cafeteria is a stationary stuffs with all the necessary to - do things. Hanging out spots such as the gutters and the zoo and botany tank are an emotion for every mccian.
