Likes
- One of the best things about this college is that it’s heat proof, all the classrooms including halls and auditorium, it’s all air conditioned.
- The campus size is huge, there’s a lot to do and a lot of activities can be pursued in the campus.
- The faculty members are quite supportive and they’re always present to guide their students.
Dislikes
- The college administration is extremely strict about attendance.
- The attendance restriction makes it hard for students who wish to pursue professional courses like CA/CS/CFA.
- Even though the college has a huge infrastructure, not many students like to engage in different activities.
Course Curriculum Overview
As a UG first year student pursuing BCOM hons, I feel good that courses not directly related to my study matter are taught, subjects like Human Rigjts, Personality Development and Inter religious studies gives us a deeper insight on the understanding of how the world works, which gives our overall character a growing platform.
Internships Opportunities
As far as I know, this college does offer internships but I cannot name the companies right now, as a UG student, I have just entered the college 2 months ago and I'm trying my best to gather all the knowledge.

The college is a huge fan of hosting events and making it to the tales of college fun talked through the whole of Kolkata.
Admission
Except this one, I applied for Bhawanipur education society college but this is better as it holds the name of St. Xaviers, a name which everyone is aware of, this college has excellent faculty members who know how to teach making it one of the best educational institutions in the city of Kolkata.
Faculty
Every department has a minimum of 20 faculty members. The faculty members are easy to approach and they always respond in a positive manner. Every semester, 2 exams are held, mid sems and end sems, mid sems are of 50 marks and end sems are of a 80 marks
Other Applied Colleges
The Bhawanipur Education Society College - [BESC] | Bachelor of Commerce [B.Com] {Hons.} (Accounting and Finance)
I did not opt for this college as St. Xaviers university has a a higher quality of education on offer
