Remarks

I applied at Vivekananda College. That college is inconvenient for me to travel. I don't have any quota. you want 60% marks in higher secondary for this course. And in order to join this course, you have to pass high school. After high school I go to a cyber cafe with my qualifications details for admission.And the college seeing my Higher secondary exam's number, I was selected for this course.

Course Curriculum Overview

This cource future is a unique opportunity. All the teachers of our college are very friendly with students. You can share your problems at any time, and they always try to solve problems. All the teachers have a very strong background in their studies and they are well-experienced in teaching. In the classroom, they are providing a projector by which we can remember the topic for a long time. They are also providing very good quality notes so that you can score better in exams. This is a 3 year course. There are 6 semesters in one. It is difficult to pass if you do not study well.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 10000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The college takes semester wise fees from us. Scolership is for everyone, there are Nabanno , Bikash Bhavan etc. And if you want to get those scolerships, you have to get numbers in proportion to the criteria of the scholarships.

Campus Life

There was a big library in the college. Almost all books of our syllabus were available, and they also had the facility of computers. The classrooms are clean, there are high benches and low benches available so that every student can sit well. Classroom have a projector also. There is a table tennis board, and you can play many indoor games. college have a big play ground. Every afternoon anyone can play any games like football, cricket, etc.

St Joseph's college a Decent one

Placement Experience:

Placements were not there earlier. But our batch was the first one to get placement at St Joseph's College Darjeeling. To be honest It is not a college you should target if you are looking for placement. The companies were too small . The roles are way to entry level . Highest placement was around 40000 per month but it was an inside sales role so many opt out. There is not official data about placement . My plan was to look for off campus jobs.

Placement Experience:

from 3rd semester, students become eligible for campus placement. Various Jewelleries company has visited, and even companies like Google, Tata and many has visited. As per i know the highest package were in lacs per month. The college provides 100% placement. After getting the degree, I'll do masters in business administration.

SXC is invaluable to me!

Placement Experience:

Highest package of our program has been 20 lakhs. Companies like EY, DeShaw, ITC, CESC and many others which are multi billion dollar groups were the ones which are invited for placements. Batch size including morning and evening is of 400 students and nearly 200 gets placements in dream companies. Roles of business analyst and accounting are provided and SAP is taught in our college so those who know that gets job easily.

SAJC - From The Eye of a Student.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is of course outdated. Teaching methods are old. No case studies, competitions or project of any sort is there in the curriculum. Although a project of 100 marks is there in the final sem, but I don't think that's enough. There is no practicality in the curriculum and usability in career. The syllabus really needs an uplifment.

The Tarakeswar college is best in Hooghly

Basically I like English and I addmission in the college then I went to college for verification there was so charming and silent natural surroundings I love it very much .The seniors and teachers are helpful they verifying documents one by one .my application fees are 2000 i got scholarship from Swami Vivekananda and obc and minorities scholarship. The library system is so good and by Depertment there's are one library enough book store there .I immediately take my library card from library showing my addmission copy then I got my favorite book from there .In college a big sports field where we played and sanitary bathroom water for drink available everywhere. the class teachers are so good experienced they thought us carefully and important notes providing us .now days the addmission processing are so easy and teachers are new comming .exam center are responsible directed by the teachers .And students who have low marks can may be chance by there reservation certificate like St SC...Read More
