Remarks

It is my great pleasure to write for this prestigious College. Budge Budge College was established on 10th December’ 1971. Initially the college was located in a different location with few classrooms. Later it was shifted to its present position. This College was lucky to have the famous writer late Narayan Ganguly as its Founder President of the Governing Body and the founder principal was late Prof. Prithwis Dutta. The college has played its role since all these years for the development of education in the suburbs of Kolkata. The township of Budge Budge itself has its own significance in the field of culture and freedom movement of India. The College is located in the vicinity of Budge Budge Railway Station and occupies an important position in the locality. Hence to serve the students in the larger area has been possible for the College. Day by day this College has created its own aura and significance in spreading education in West Bengal particularly to the middle class & lower middle class families. Students of this College come from all spheres of society. We have large numbers of female students to take care of. Most of our students are well established in their life and playing their role as good citizens. I feel honoured to be the Principal of such a College. In the coming years I hope the College will be able to keep up its expectation. “Knowledge is power, knowledge is strength

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

It provides rich content and teaching practices that are shown to support children's learning and development. A research-based curriculum is also content-rich, meaning that it provides broad and varied experiences and activities that promote children's learning and development

Placement Experience

3

On the contrary, on-campus placements are much easier. Easier in the sense of opportunities you get to secure placements. You will compete among the students of the same college. The placement process is well known prior to the arrival of the company so you can prepare accordingly.

College Events

3.5

Support from College. Form the TEAM – the fest organizing committee. Assign Team Responsibilities and take decisions. Decide on theme and fest activities. Budgeting and Logistics. Work on a strong marketing strategy. Post-event activities.

Fee Structure And Facilities

It is every parents dream to ensure that their children get the possible education – some even start planning and saving for it since the day their kids are born. However, higher education is an expensive affair, especially if you want to send your child to a foreign university. Other than the tuition fees, you will also need to factor in the cost of living. These can vary from country to country and city to city as well. It is important that you factor in both heads of expenses while chalking out your budget.

Fees and Financial Aid

The loan is repaid by the student. Generally, the repayment starts when the course is completed. Some banks even provide a relaxation period of 6 months after securing a job or a year after the completion of studies for repayment. During the course period, the bank charges simple interest rate on the loan.

Campus Life

4

Course curriculum is good. They goes on improving curriculum evey year. The subjects are balanced every semester. Exams went through the semester. There are 3 sessional tests each of 40 marks taken in a semester out of which best 2 of 3 taken in consideration. And final exams of 60 marks are taken.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

No it is not necessary to stay in the hostel of both private and government colleges. A hostel is provided for those who do not have a place to stay nearby or are not willing to stay somewhere outside. Most students are allocated a hostel on taking admission to the college.

Alumni/Alumna

Today, alumni relations is an important part of an institution's advancement activities for many reasons: Alumni are an institution's most loyal supporters. They take their knowledge of your institution to their hometowns and countries and into their professional and social networks.

Admission

A student's record in and outside the high school classroom demonstrates to an admissions officer the kind of contributions he or she will make at the college level. Colleges are looking for candidates who perform consistently well or show a record of improvement in rigorous or college-prep courses.

Faculty

4.5

Self-evaluation: judged against criteria. One of the most valuable means of evaluating your lectures is to reflect on what you are planning to do or have done in terms of student learning objectives. Feedback during the lecture. Feedback after the lecture. Submission of notes by students. Peer observation.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose the course the b.com because I want to become the CA but after completing the graduation my family condition was not very good so I quit my studies and searching for the job. My dream was after B.com then I complete M.com then CA but I couldn't do that. I'm pursuing because I'm interested in understanding how businesses work and want a solid foundation in commerce and finance. It opens up various career paths in accounting, finance, management, and more. Plus, it's a versatile degree that can lead to professional certifications like CA, CS, or MBA.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is of course outdated. Teaching methods are old. No case studies, competitions or project of any sort is there in the curriculum. Although a project of 100 marks is there in the final sem, but I don't think that's enough. There is no practicality in the curriculum and usability in career. The syllabus really needs an uplifment.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is average , I chose this course because I wanted to do an honours degree and I'm from commerce background so my first pick was B.Com . They really put efforts to prepare students for well future , as I said earlier some teachers are genuinely very good helpful supporting and good at what they do . Something they need to approve is the 70% attendance criteria, I think they need to understand not every student is just persuing graduation they are doing some other courses or jobs etc so they can't maintain 70% attendance . The frequency of timing is average

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course Curriculum is Comprehensive, focused equally on Academics and Practical Exposure.. I chose because of that extra year of research I can choose to do in my final year (4th year) of graduation and I'll have an Hons. Degree at the end of 4th year of my college... Practical insights makes sure we are being trained to tackle practical world and academic knowledge ensures we are eligible to apply for further Education.. I will say more focus on Practical Exposure and a little extra focus on Sports May Take This Curriculum to a different level..
