Course Curriculum Overview

5

Our curriculum required each student in their college life for a mandatory internship programme . This curriculum is helping me gain more about accounting , Corporate law , Business commucation and other things as well . Improvements in course would be like students should be sent for inteships actively for gaining real life experience . The frequency of exams is :- CIA exams - which happens after 2 months of starting of each semester Final / End sem exams - which happens at the 5th month of each semester and then we have 1 month semester break .

Internships Opportunities

4

The intership is mandatory at our college and every student have to do this compulsary internship programme to gain real life experience , also many projects are given to students to complete certsin tasks at their intership like sales , marketing , to sell 30 products like that , also and mostly internship provide by our college is unpaid but we get to learn a lot .

Placement Experience

3

The placements of our college campus is 6/10 as because according to our seniors , the placements cells will not assure to get you secured placements after our completion of course . Aslo the companies which come to our college to take fresher are not big companies , few companies come each year. A stuents becomes eligible for placements after completing 3rd year . The details for companies are not known by me till now . My prans after getting passed out is to find jobs by myself or get into my business

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees structure :- Admission fees ( only at the time of admission ) - 93,000 Each semester fees = 58,000 Scholarship fees - I currently don't know but you have to give a scholarship exam Out college provides co curricular activities like sports and other societies which add credit points to students and help develop their interpersonal skills . The infrastructre is very good , toilets are clean , each classroom has centralized aur conditioners as well . Almost 350-500 students take admission each year ( only in B.Com ).

Campus Life

4

My overall experience in college till now is that mostly students like to be with their friends and they do not annoy others or bully others like we used to hear in our school days . No ragging by seniors . Overview of sports and extracurricular activites offered at our campus are sports related and we also have cultural society and xucas the most famous club at our college . The faculties use digital progfctor to use , we have computer labs .

Admission

At first I applied to St Xavier's College , Scottish Church College , Christ university , St Joseph University . I unfortunately could not clear the interview at the christ but i cleared their online written test . Then ichopse this college because it seemed good to me and it offered me the course which I wanted to pursue . The admission process of our college is that students are selected as per their higher secondary marks i.e class 12 th board examinations marks which should be more than 85% , rare cases students also get selected in 80% marks as well but should not be less than 80% . Also students who apply for bcom should st least get more than 45% marks in mathematics in class 12 boards or else they will get rejected .

Faculty

5

Faculty -Studnet ratio :- 70-450 Faculty student relationship is good , the faculties ask for doubts solving sessions if students require . The dictation of theory by almost each faculty is good and proper . Name of faculties I like :- 1) Kaushik Banerjee - Business commucation teacher 2) Shubhoda banerjee - Lae teacher 3) Souvik sir - Economics teacher

Interview Experience

4

I have faced group interviews where we have to sit in a group of either 5 or 10 people and we discuss about a particular topic and then out teacher asks questions related to the topic . The process of admission is very easy , just apply at the University website and then wait for the selection list to come and if your name is there you get a call from the college saying to pay for the fees and then you will called for personal interview and physical verification . We prepare for interview rounds like time is given to us for thinking about the topic and then we have to start

Night Life

4

The favourite hangout spots at our college is behind the canteen , or at the college washroom where we guys hangout and have a chit chat . Also a place called quadrangle which is the centre of classroom campus . We have building name arupe building , Tagore niwas , girls hostels name are mother teresa niwas , and the building have 6 floors . We have gym and library which are ac conditioned . And also have common room where students can wait and talk to each other in until their work is done or their classes get started .

Other Applied Colleges

Scottish Church College | Bachelor of Commerce [B.Com] {Hons.} (Accounting and Finance)

To be honest , at first I thought that it is a another branch of St Xavier's College , park Street main campus , so in that college I did not get my marks selected so I applied in this university

Scottish Church College | Bachelor of Commerce [B.Com] {Hons.} (Accounting and Finance)

To be honest , i thought that this college is branch of main campus of Xavier's at part street but now it seems that the main campus is better than this college but yes I admit the infrastructure is very good in Xavier's University

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose the course the b.com because I want to become the CA but after completing the graduation my family condition was not very good so I quit my studies and searching for the job. My dream was after B.com then I complete M.com then CA but I couldn't do that. I'm pursuing because I'm interested in understanding how businesses work and want a solid foundation in commerce and finance. It opens up various career paths in accounting, finance, management, and more. Plus, it's a versatile degree that can lead to professional certifications like CA, CS, or MBA.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is of course outdated. Teaching methods are old. No case studies, competitions or project of any sort is there in the curriculum. Although a project of 100 marks is there in the final sem, but I don't think that's enough. There is no practicality in the curriculum and usability in career. The syllabus really needs an uplifment.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is average , I chose this course because I wanted to do an honours degree and I'm from commerce background so my first pick was B.Com . They really put efforts to prepare students for well future , as I said earlier some teachers are genuinely very good helpful supporting and good at what they do . Something they need to approve is the 70% attendance criteria, I think they need to understand not every student is just persuing graduation they are doing some other courses or jobs etc so they can't maintain 70% attendance . The frequency of timing is average

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course Curriculum is Comprehensive, focused equally on Academics and Practical Exposure.. I chose because of that extra year of research I can choose to do in my final year (4th year) of graduation and I'll have an Hons. Degree at the end of 4th year of my college... Practical insights makes sure we are being trained to tackle practical world and academic knowledge ensures we are eligible to apply for further Education.. I will say more focus on Practical Exposure and a little extra focus on Sports May Take This Curriculum to a different level..
