Remarks

After passing the ISC exam, I had applied for some government colleges and St. Xavier's University. As my marks were a little less so I didn't get a chance in any government colleges but my name came in the first list of St. Xavier's University. It was my dream to be admitted to this institution. St. Xavier's University admits student with a minimum aggregate of 85%.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

I had applied for BCom Hons. I have a nack towards accountancy and I'm also strong in this subject so I applied for the course. BCom Hons course is really great in this university. They have a large faculty with Phd qualified professors. Here the professors are really helpful to the students. They provide all the study materials in the class and also provide help in case of any doubts after class. As my class were conducted totally in the online mode so the term exams were much close to each other like in a 3-4 months gap. But the online exam checking was lenient so it was quite easy to pass and the sgpa also came quite well.

Internships Opportunities

3

There's my captain internship provided to the students by the university. This institute provided various courses too along with the internship. This internship is very helpful to the students as they get a stipend, certificate after completion of the internship, recommendation letter of the students according to their performance and also an opportunity to work with an SDSN awarded organisation.

Placement Experience

3

Students of both bachelors and masters degree are eligible for placements. Many companies come to the university to absorb the students. I have not planned to take placement as my wish is to join an MBA course after BCom Hons. Almost 90% of students get placement from the university.

Fees and Financial Aid

In 2020, due to the outbreak of coronavirus the fees were reduced by 11k. The total course fees were 3.21k but during admissions in 2020, it was reduced to 3.10k. Scholarships are provided to the caste members. Internships(maximum provide stipends) are also provided by the university. Almost 90% of the students get placements, both bachelors and masters courses. Frequent webinars and also conducted by the university to inform the students about job opportunities of the courses.

Campus Life

2.5

We never got to experience campus life as due to the outbreak of coronavirus pandemic, our classes were totally conducted in the online mode. Frequent cultural events are conducted by the university. There are many societies in the university like the cultural society, the debate society, the commerce and management society, the photography society, etc. Each student had to be a part of any one of the societies.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is of course outdated. Teaching methods are old. No case studies, competitions or project of any sort is there in the curriculum. Although a project of 100 marks is there in the final sem, but I don't think that's enough. There is no practicality in the curriculum and usability in career. The syllabus really needs an uplifment.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is average , I chose this course because I wanted to do an honours degree and I'm from commerce background so my first pick was B.Com . They really put efforts to prepare students for well future , as I said earlier some teachers are genuinely very good helpful supporting and good at what they do . Something they need to approve is the 70% attendance criteria, I think they need to understand not every student is just persuing graduation they are doing some other courses or jobs etc so they can't maintain 70% attendance . The frequency of timing is average

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course Curriculum is Comprehensive, focused equally on Academics and Practical Exposure.. I chose because of that extra year of research I can choose to do in my final year (4th year) of graduation and I'll have an Hons. Degree at the end of 4th year of my college... Practical insights makes sure we are being trained to tackle practical world and academic knowledge ensures we are eligible to apply for further Education.. I will say more focus on Practical Exposure and a little extra focus on Sports May Take This Curriculum to a different level..

Course Curriculum Overview:

• The specific aspects of the curriculum are the subjects including in this course are related to the industry that will help students to build their career in this competitive world and I choose the course as I wanted to pursue a professional course after graduation. • The curriculum prepares us pretty well for real world applications as there are subjects like management that helps students to understand things very clearly and apply it in the real world. • The frequency and timing of exams is perfect and my perspective on the difficulty level is that the exams are not at all difficult.
