Remarks

The positive side is the university provides ample of oppurtunities to the students in every field of work. Everyone gets the oppurtunity in extra curricular activities. They provide us with library books and ebooks as well. There is no need of spending money in buying books from outside. There is no such negative side of the University but the timings are a bit of concern which extends upto 6 hours.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

Bcom honours is a good carrer option. This course covers all the related accounts portions. Though the syllabus is vast but it helps to enhance our knowledge on the course. This is a 3 year under graduate programme.

Internships Opportunities

This college provides internship. But I as a student didnot have an experience of the internship provided by the college. I did my internship from outside. But I heard from my fellow classmates that the internship experience for them was amazing.

Placement Experience

4

Placement cell is very good. Students get placed in different big companies. Average annual salary is near about 4 to 5 lakhs.. 40% students gets placed. After an undergraduate course this salary is good. Companies tend to rope in students of this university.

College Events

4.5

There are many events held listed below 1. Xavrang(University annual fest) 2. Xav Ultra Talks(Speakers motivate students) 3. Foundation Day 4. Independence Day 5. Sports Day 6. Inter department football, cricket and basketball tournament 7. Convocation Day

Fee Structure And Facilities

This University has an expensive fee structure. For an undergarduate degree like bcom honours the fee structure is not feasible. Other universities tend to have fee structure of 10000 to 20000 anually. But our university has a fee structure of 80000 anually which is quiet expensive.

Fees and Financial Aid

I donot know about any loan facility provided by the University. But yes there is a scholarship facility for students whose monthly family income is below 25000 but he has to score minimum above 50% marks in each semester to avail the scholarship every year.

Campus Life

5

The computer labs are very good. They have all the current softwares needed for the students. They also have a strong wifi connection with projectors in every class as well. There is a basketball ground with a coach. There are rooms where one can play carrom and table tennis. There is a large football cum cricket ground.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

I am not a hostilier. But i have heard from my fellow classmates, who reside in the hostel, that the hostel facilities are quiet good. The food provided is very good and healthy. Rooms are big and 2 or 3 persons can share each room. There is a specific timing within one has to enter the hostel.

Alumni/Alumna

The University is new.. So Alumni network is not so strong. But yes the alumni helps the current students if asked. They also visit the campus during the various events taking place. They sometimes come to the college as a motivational speaker as well.

Exam Structure

The exam structure is semester system. There are 6 semesters. Each semester has a mid semester as well. The question papers consist of 80 marks and rest 20 marks is for mid semester exams, presentations and attendance.. The papers are of total 100 marks

Admission

Average marks of the entrance exam and 12th marks is the procedure to enter into the college. A merit list selects the best students. Then there is a personal interview to get admission in this university.

Faculty

3.5

The university provides us with best professors. They are well equiped with the subjects they teach. They also help us with powerpoint presentations. They teach so well that students donot need private tutors.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is of course outdated. Teaching methods are old. No case studies, competitions or project of any sort is there in the curriculum. Although a project of 100 marks is there in the final sem, but I don't think that's enough. There is no practicality in the curriculum and usability in career. The syllabus really needs an uplifment.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is average , I chose this course because I wanted to do an honours degree and I'm from commerce background so my first pick was B.Com . They really put efforts to prepare students for well future , as I said earlier some teachers are genuinely very good helpful supporting and good at what they do . Something they need to approve is the 70% attendance criteria, I think they need to understand not every student is just persuing graduation they are doing some other courses or jobs etc so they can't maintain 70% attendance . The frequency of timing is average

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course Curriculum is Comprehensive, focused equally on Academics and Practical Exposure.. I chose because of that extra year of research I can choose to do in my final year (4th year) of graduation and I'll have an Hons. Degree at the end of 4th year of my college... Practical insights makes sure we are being trained to tackle practical world and academic knowledge ensures we are eligible to apply for further Education.. I will say more focus on Practical Exposure and a little extra focus on Sports May Take This Curriculum to a different level..

• The specific aspects of the curriculum are the subjects including in this course are related to the industry that will help students to build their career in this competitive world and I choose the course as I wanted to pursue a professional course after graduation. • The curriculum prepares us pretty well for real world applications as there are subjects like management that helps students to understand things very clearly and apply it in the real world. • The frequency and timing of exams is perfect and my perspective on the difficulty level is that the exams are not at all difficult.
