We are offered placement opportunities from our final semester. Big companies like Amazon, TCS, HCL, HP, Wipro, Virtusa and many more which have tie-ups with the University visit our campus to conduct interviews and offer us jobs. Almost all the good students get placed if they can perform well in the interview. The University also provides us with special training to help us crack the placement interviews with ease. Highest salary has gone as up as 32 LPA while the average salary stays around 5-6 LPA. I too plan to sit for the interview and get placed at a reputed company after getting the degree.

We are offered placement opportunities from our final year. Before that, we take part in various internships and research projects too. Several reputed companies have tie-ups with our University and they are the ones who provide us with jobs and internship opportunities. More than 200 companies visit and above 95% of students get placed with salaries over 8LPA. I plan to sit for campus placements and earn a good job at a reputed company.

In the 5th semester students become eligible for campus placements, For our department, many MNCs like Wipro, Cognizant, HP etc visit our college for placement. THE HIGHEST PACKAGE OFFERED IS 8 LPA, And the average placement package is 4.5 LPA

I am totally satisfied with my faculty members of SNU. They taught us every topic very well. I choose biotechnology because I really found this subject very interesting that's why. Our faculty members are PhD degree holders. They are well qualified. They taught us the things several times if we can't understand something. Term exams happen before ofcourse the end sems. They are tough sometimes. Student : faculty ratio is 18:1 .

I opted for Microbiology honors. The reason, why I chose this subject, is the huge opening it provides after graduation. It's not only restricted to research but also includes paths in various Pharma companies and hospitals. The student-teacher ratio is a bit disproportionate but that's due to the fact that due to the lockdown and online classes the two streams– Biotechnology and microbiology classes are taking place side by side. But the Professors being extremely qualified and skilled with exceptional degrees in their respective fields manages the classes extremely well. Regular class tests and mock tests are conducted before the semester exams that we take after six months which round up to two semester exams in a year. In addition to the semester exams, we have mid semesters which we have a month prior to our end semesters. The range of difficulty levels ranges from easy to moderate for the semesters, but due to regular revision in our classes, we are quite well prepared before the tests.

I really like the campus and the placement is good. I saw that this is a very gopd College and it provides scholarship for the student passing above certain percentage in their exam. This is an advantage for someone who doesn't have much financial background.

As it a general Degree college, no company visit has occurred. But Most of our students completed their hospital internship as a part of our syllabus in their final year. So, we completed our Internship in various renowned hospitals.

I think its really the best University. Doesnt deserve to be rated as its a very good, infact very attractive University in Kolkata. I think it is the most attractive by its ifrastructure. It has excellent faculty and a very beautiful campus.
