IIT Dharwad Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

I was interested in the placement as I believed in the direct campus placement and my University was well versed in this thing. When I joined the University I discussed it with the seniors for the assurance. They told me that the rate of placement with the companies such as Infosys etc was around 80 % and packages started from around 7 Lakh.

The college was brand new, and we were among the first students to enrol. Because the college placement committee was solely responsible for our placements, it played a crucial part in our placement. Good firms such as Microsoft, Amazon, Infosys, and Wipro were invited by the college placement committee. The batch's highest package was over 30 LPA, while the average package was around 15 LPA. This is an excellent placement for a new college student.

The college is newly established to when we passed out there were no placement drives conducted. but we have completed our internship from very good companies. The college was able to invite companies like Microsoft, Google, L&T, Wipro, Infosys for its internship program. I can say that there will be very good placement offers in future as the placement committee and college management are working hard for the college placement standards.

In a very small time the college has made its name in the terms of placement and as per the placements offers the college has the potential to compete with the top universities of India as the highest placement offer of the college was around 43 LPA and the average salary offer was around 17 LPA which is very good ROI. The college placement committee is full of experienced members and they are highly qualified and experienced.

IIT Dharwad saw a whopping placement rate of 95% during my year of graduation. Some of the major recruiters included Microsoft, Nasdaq, Air Asia, TCS, Cognizant, Express Analytics, Sohum Innovations, MAQ Softwares, Larson and Toubro, etc. 59% of the students got placed in the information technology sector while the rest in core engineering, education and research and development. These companies were the ones that even offered summer internships to the students in their final year of study. They required a good amount of skillset like negotiation, communication, and problem-solving. Some of the students even received the PPO(Pre Placement offer) after their tenure of an internship. The ones who did not get a placement offer either went on for an off-campus placement drive or for higher studies like an MBA. The highest package offered was 19 lakhs and the average package was at 12 lakh rupees.

The college has achieved really very good numbers in terms of placement within a short period of time. The college was able to reach the 100% placement mark. The highest package was around 28 LPA and the average package was around 13 LPA. Which very good achievement for a new college. The college placement committee was able to invite around 110+ companies to take part in the college placement drive.

As being the first batch we were a little bit in doubt about the college placement committee as to what type of companies will be called for the college placement we were not aware that what to expect. But the placement committee of the college has done really a commendable job they were successful in inviting good companies such as Google, Microsoft, Amazon, Infosys, Wipro and many more. Around 75+ companies visited our campus during the college placement drive. The highest package was around 25 LPA and the average salary package was 11.95 LPA.

The college was new and we were part of the first batch of the college. The college placement committee played a very important role in our placement as the committee was fully responsible for our placements. The college placement committee was successful in inviting good companies such as Microsoft, Amazon, Infosys, Wipro etc. The highest package for the batch was around 26 LPA and the average package was approx 12 LPA. For a new college placement like this is very good.

The college has provided good placement for our batch. The placement committee is very hardworking. The college placement committee is very helpful and supportive they totally guide us throughout the placement process so that we can get placed as per our interest. the highest package for our batch was approx 26 LPA and the average package was approx 10 LPA. Microsoft, DRDO, TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Adobe, Amazon, L&T, Amazon, Google, etc were the companies that participated in the recruitment process of the college.

The college provides us with good placement. As the college committee is well aware that to attract a good number of students they need to invite good companies for placement. The college placement committee is very professional and really helps us and guides us throughout the college placement process.
