SDM College of Engineering and Technology (SDMCET), Dharwad was started by SDME Society in 1979. It is a Self Financed Autonomous educational Institute. It is affiliated to Visvesvaraya Technical University (Belgaum) & University Grants Commission (New Delhi). I was also eligible for many other colleges accross banglore but I choose this college because of its infrastructure and well maintained faculty and placement related activities. The admission process is really simple though you will have to submit all the documents.

I have applied to other colleges too. I have selected other colleges and other courses also but due to some difficulty i have to choose this college as this college is really good and has good teachers

- Social interaction and campus was really good, all the teaching and non teaching staffs were good

- The college does not have many events and no extra activities
- Quality and the campus are good but that place is small

I had applied to Sdm and I got confirmed because Sdm is a good college in manglore bba course was good in Sdm so I had to go with Sdm . I had not applied to other college so I had not got any rejection. Admissions process was to fill the application and give all the forms like tc marks card Aadhar card and so on

- The campus is very welcoming and quite vast, the atmosphere all around is tranquil
- The infrastructure for an ayurvedic college in general isn’t really something we can expect a lot out of, but sdm has a good infra

- The hostel facilities can be improvised to accommodate better
- The mess food could use some improvement and hygiene
Admission:
The admission process is the same for any ayurvedic college in Karnataka, all of which is mandated by KEA. Therefore it is no exception for this college either, sdm happens to be one of the best colleges in the state and getting into this college needs a higher grade/mark in your NEET compared to other private institutions.

- The environment of the college is full of positivity

- The security is not that strict anybody can just enter the college some times
- Local bus issues and travelling to college is a hectic part

This college is been one of the best and reputable colleges since years and has the best surrounding to explore study with a peaceful mind as the place seems quite out of the city the traffic and other things is avoided it just feels like some positive energy around

My college is in the best place it's in the heart of the city of Dharwad. The faculty is best and the environment is also the best .. having great opportunity for us through which we can explore our skills

Eligibility is for kcet ranking students Application will sent by college administration office. Or can come to college directly Reservation benefits like fee will reduced for kcet students. We will be having 3 hours for exam

There is no entrance examination for admission process they need to be take good mark in previous examinations also they need pass in all subjects Admission is not long process it was short and quick.

- Management college fests, Genesis and Synergy organised by the college

- Less internship opportunities provided by the placement
Admission:
Candidates are admitted based on merit, it would be beneficial if the candidate has more than 70% in his/her 12th exams. Apllication form is availabe offline only as of now. There are 2 internal examinations conducted in a semester and a viva before the sem exams.

Yes, CSE course has very high placement with average package of INR 14 LPA and you can check out more on the same at SDMCET Dharwad Placement.
The fee for the undergraduate and postgraduate courses is INR 1,65,000 – INR 4,00,000 for the entire duration of the courses which includes various charges such as registration fees, tuition fees, examination fees, lab charges and other miscellaneous charges.
If the candidates income is less that Rs. 6.0 lakhs per year, you become automatically eligible for SNQ quota. Of course, the number of eligible candidate per candidate is limited to 5 percent of the total available seats. SDM do offer SNQ quota to its students.The seats are alloted under the SNQ purely based on the merit lists and ranks. You have to check the official site of the college to know about cutoff for SNQ quota.
