Ques. What is the admission process for PG programs like M.Tech and MBA?
Ans. M.Tech Admission: Through Karnataka PGCET by KEA. GATE students can also apply directly.
MBA Admission: On the basis of Karnataka PGCET or KMAT scores.
Eligibility:
M.Tech: Bachelor's in the relevant discipline with a minimum of 50% marks and valid PGCET/GATE score.
MBA: Valid bachelor's degree and valid PGCET/KMAT score.
Seat allocation and centralized counseling are controlled by KEA (Karnataka Examinations Authority).
Ques. Is industry experience and internship supported by SDMCET?
Ans. Yes, internships form an integral part of the academic curriculum at SDMCET. The training and placement cell organizes internship opportunities in coordination with firms and startups. Students are motivated to do internships in summer vacations, especially after the second and third years. Mini-projects and industrial visits are included in the syllabus by certain departments. There are also MOUs with different companies and industry associations to provide students with hands-on experience and real-world exposure.
