Remarks

In JOSAA counselling, I was sent to IIT Dharwad, and I learned that the college is mentored by IIT Bombay, which was a huge benefit for me because IIT Bombay is India's top IIT campus. In a short period of time, the college has become well-known for its educational quality and has established a reputation. I finished my application process right away. The admissions process went smoothly, and the staff was quite helpful.

Course Curriculum Overview

The program's curriculum is excellent. It combines both practical and theoretical knowledge. The programme provides us with knowledge about computer science and its various components. The course teaches us how to code and programme computers in a very simple and practical manner. The curriculum is adaptable and updated on a regular basis to match industry requirements and norms.

Course Fees: INR 900000 per year

Placement Experience

The college was brand new, and we were among the first students to enrol. Because the college placement committee was solely responsible for our placements, it played a crucial part in our placement. Good firms such as Microsoft, Amazon, Infosys, and Wipro were invited by the college placement committee. The batch's highest package was over 30 LPA, while the average package was around 15 LPA. This is an excellent placement for a new college student.

Fees and Financial Aid

The average total cost of a college education is roughly 9 lakh rupees. The college delivers a decent return on investment, and because it was young at the time we were there, the placement will undoubtedly increase year after year. Scholarships are given on a merit basis, as well as scholarships for SC/ST/PWD. Scholarships from the state and federal governments are also available. Campus Life

The college's campus life is excellent. PARSEC is the college's technical fest, and it's a great place for us to showcase our new ideas. The college's infrastructure is in good shape. Amazon, Deloitte, Oracle and many tech companies like them are in agreement with our college for placements. Our college has a great placements opportunities as even after so many CSE students, 70% students every year gets placed with packages as high as 30 lakhs even.

students can be eligible for placements from 3rd year only, many companies have visited the college like TATA,Accenture and many other.The highest package for this year is about 19 lakhs , average package is about 3 lakhs,talking about the percentage our college has 77% of the college placements, i am planning to pursue higher education after my graduation

Placement Experience:

We enter the placement at the end of 3rd year almost at 4th year(6th to 7th semester). The placement cell organizes various traning program, including mock interviews, group discussions, and communication skills workshops. Past 3 to 4 years more than 10 companies per year offered hiring 100+ students. But over the year the companies have come down and providing les opportunities. Companies like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, etc recruite students from this college. The highest package is 25LPA and the average package is around 6LPA. Due to the increase in the rate of admission, the percentage has been decresed. Almost 25 out of 100 students are getting placed in this college. After getting degree, I will try my level best to get placed in campus itself. If not, I am interested more in Competitive exams, I will focus on it.

In first year they have many subjects of all course which are basic and fundamentals of all branches Some are good in real world application They should add more practical stuff then theories We have 1 to 1½ month gap betwen internals and some 10 days gap between 2nd internal and sem difficult level varies every year

Placement Experience:

From the 6th and 7th semester students are eligible gor campus placements. Students are asked to apply for the campus placements from the career development department of the college according to the marks. Some companies visited are like jspider, qspider, Xworkz, kodnest, Infosys, 3 q sutantra, toyota, triveni,idea infinity,edgeverve, eton ,dfm technology, tata elaxi, enventure and many more. And highest package in 8 to 12 LPA. The students are placed according to the companies requiments min 20 students are placed outof 50 students My plan is to get a good, high paying job after completing my graduation.

The Pros and Cons of being a student at MIT Manipal

Placement Experience:

From the7th sem onwards campus placements are put in place for btech students. Many companies such as microsoft, google, BMW, mercedes, accenture and others look for students here. The top 100 of each branch get the highest packages with the average of that being 22lpa for the cce branch. The rest of the students that are placed have an average salary of 14 lpa. Almost all the students are placed with the placement rate being around 90% for my branch. I plan on working for 2 years after getting placed and then pursuing an MBa degree abroad to further my tenure as a valuable asset to whatever company takes me under their wing.

Life at IIT Dharwad - What to expect

I applied for CSE and MnC branches of all the 1st and 2nd gen IITs along with the 3rd gen IITs, my rank was about 4.8k so I knew I could get CSE only in the 3rd gen IITs out of which I felt IIT Dharwad was the best. My main reason for choosing IIT Dharwad was CSE, also that it was mentored by IIT Bombay, so the syllabus is quite tried and tested, also Dharwad is near to the tech hubs of the country like bengaluru, pune, mumbai, hyderabad which is good for someone who is really passionate about CSE. IIT Dharwad is new but not forever..

The college comes within the list the prestigious colleges 'IITs' and that is the major reason to choose this college and not any other with my rank in jee advance. all you need to do is clear jee advance with a minimum rank of 16-17k to get entered and for computer science it is around 4-5k.
