Over all IIT Dharwad is good not bad

Yes course curriculum is good but in 1st year college choose course for all the students and computer science students have electrical subject so that's not good because my electrical is not good that's why I don't choose electrical branch but now I'm struggling in this subject and onc more subject hands on engineering lab why cs students have this carpentry and welding I want to change in this and I lwant in first year students have own choice for subject, I choose cs because I want to learn about computer and but here teacher assumed every student learn coding already that's why I'm little bit struggling so I want in starting phase teacher should go through basics of codings and at all

Here most of the students participated in hackathon so there is a multiple projects and problems and recently our college open zero waste till 2030 which is inogrised by seetha raman our finance minister of india Company like microsoft infosys and etc. provided stipend for intership

Actually imnin 1st semester so I aks from seniors so they told me highest PKG of cs branch is 86LPA and machenical is 60 LPA they are off campus package and in campus 57 LPA for cse and they also give minor degree courses for placement chance is increased in cs branch 93 % students placed 125 compony visited in college in 2024-25 I plan I get job after b tech if I don't placed in campus so i tried EAE examination.

For genral candidate, obc, for 1st year fee is 2 .98 lacks And 2.80 lacks for 2nd 3rd and 4th year For sc /st candidates for 1st year 98k And. 81k for 2nd 3rd and 4th year . *Scholarship* For genral and obc candidates who have less than 5 lacks income refund 2/3 fee amount and who have income less than 7 lack per annum refund 1/3 fee amount this is college scholarships For sc/st who have less than 4.5 lacks income 20k mess fee refund per year

Campus life is very good brachse basic necessary things avilable like luxurious hum all games seprate rooms and place even swimming pools also all discussions rooms common room 24/7 library even if some students have not laptop so give krdc lab for students to practise here more than 100 computer avilable side from our cs lab .it' is also 24/7 opens here every type of clubs chess codings playings everything like finance at all . For understanding and learning yes in my batch most of the students join the clubs and they are good in study also so join the club is don't impact our student life

In 1 room 1 chair 1 bed 1 almira 1 study table give for each student and 8 to 9 tube lights here weather is little bit like starting of winter so no need of ac hear I come here in July and here and I feel little bit winter from July to now november I sleep with blanket ragistration of hostel is done already when students pay the fee before reaching the institute here it's must to live in hostel sometimes mess food is good sometimes I don't like chapati if I give overall so it's 7 /10 for mess food

I choose this college because I got computer science branch in IIT and fees is also low for me as a middle class student because I search in other nit have 2 lacks fee for one year for sc and fill this fee at the starting but here I fill 58500 in 1st sem and remaining in 2nd semester so it's And I applied for IIT Bombay here I choose chemical engineering but required rank is 679bbut my is 927 that's why not selected. And admission process of iit dharwad is very smooth if students selected in joosa rounds so fill the fee throgh online before reaching the college and submit required documents like 10th 12 marksheet aadhar card pan card fee receipt and joosa admission letter that's it admission done

Yes faculty members is too much here bcz of all have seprate department like and here two semesters in one year for 1 semester is 4 months and here 10 marks quiz and 30 marks mid sem 10 marks quiz 2 and 50 marks end sem exam , for calculus structure all other course have also similar but some course not take quiz they have labs for 20 marks like Computer programming course difficult is I said tough because in our class mostly people study hard but don't get much better marks , and I don't like cs professor because they teach like everyone know codings so teach very fast but I'm from a cbse board and I don't know about coding even I said that teacher but he is also very fast due to some students who passed out another state board and know coding .

Our hostel is 24/7 opens warden and security guards are here for our safety and they behave like very friendly to all don't behve whne we see in movies and all we don't feel like jail at the starting I said it's like luxurious 4-5 star hotel and in mess canteen us here it have all type of food in reasonable price famous place is in jym side all indoor games rooms available as near outside game is also available most of the students spent time in jym and games after the study
