IIT Dharwad Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

Our college provide very fantastic placements , in every year they invited two or three companies in our college to get placements us.In last semester the students are eligible for for campus placements.Shilpa biological industry, biocon industry both company are offered the placement in last year. they told they provide highest packages 800000 rupees per year and averages 400000 per year . In our department , 2 to 3 students are getting palcements. after i completed my degree , i want to research so i admitted in phd programmes.

Actually imnin 1st semester so I aks from seniors so they told me highest PKG of cs branch is 86LPA and machenical is 60 LPA they are off campus package and in campus 57 LPA for cse and they also give minor degree courses for placement chance is increased in cs branch 93 % students placed 125 compony visited in college in 2024-25 I plan I get job after b tech if I don't placed in campus so i tried EAE examination.

At IIT Dharwad, students become eligible for campus placements right after their 7th semester(i.e. after the start of 4th year) and during their 3rd year, students also have opportunities to sit for internships which can later convert to PPOs. The companies that have visited our campus are Adobe, Amazon, Texas, TCS, wipro etc. The highest CTC offered was 55LPA and average package for CSE is 18-20LPA, and for the core branches is around 10-15LPA. In CSE more than 93% of the students got placed and many of other students opted for higher studies . In the core branches the placement percentage was around 85-88%. After My degree, I plan to go for a Software Engineer role.

IIT DHARWAD offers decent placements but you need to study hard to get that Jobs.placements begin in prefinal year. Companies like Texas, accenture, orchid visits our college .in recent years the highest package was 52 lakh and average stood at 12 lakhs .My plans after getting degree will be doing job or persue Mtech

College contains a department (mainly students operated) called CDC( career development cell) that mainly handles about reaching compainies for placement and internships for our students. placement percentage is almost 70-80% and others going for higher studies or something else with an average package of 14-15 lakhs per annum.

In 4th years maybe This year data has not out but as of my knowlege a bhaiya got 48 lakhs he was in electrical department Others were also ther of 30 to 40 also I domt exactly know the figures . Percentage is okok maybe like 80.

for 1st year as a cse student in 1st sem biology is also there , chemistry, physics,maths , cs101 are the courses ,physics is objective , chemistry is organic ,inorganic m,physical ,maths is somewhat different

you are elible from 4-1 for most of the companies that actually depends on companies but on campus inters you will get from 3rd year beginning it self .highest package is 55lpa and avg you can say 13lpa . 40% of students got placed last year i really hate this college just bad placements broo my plan is to get a job i have no plans for higher studies

Placements are good in college . Highest package was 52 lpa in 2024 and average was 9-10 lpa. But the percentage was very less in 2024 because of recession and negligence of placement cell and their bad decisions.

Student's are available for placement opportunities after 7th sem the exact number of company varies the highest package on campus was around 52lpa average is around 18lpa the offers were made in several domains such as cse ai web dev ee AutoCAD machanics etc. I plan on for taking placements opportunities.
