Likes

faculty and staff are open minded thy don't middle in students personal business , they just teach and leave
the atmosphere, climate is pretty good , it's all green campus
they maintain good hygiene, when it comes to toilets and all they are pretty clean

Dislikes

damnn very bad placement offers internship offers too very low you will feel blessed if you got placed actually
food is good you can survive with this food but you will find insects around mess hall
events are boring here. it is not as u expect

Course Curriculum Overview

circulum huuh we have 2 days holidays per week saturday and sunday. so only 5 days a week and per day you will have 4-5 hour classes some times less than that and as your year increases your class hours decrease.

Placement Experience

you are elible from 4-1 for most of the companies that actually depends on companies but on campus inters you will get from 3rd year beginning it self .highest package is 55lpa and avg you can say 13lpa . 40% of students got placed last year i really hate this college just bad placements broo my plan is to get a job i have no plans for higher studies

per semester fees total fees: general/ews/obc : 1,41,000 sc/st/divyangjan: 41,000 breakdown: registration fee: 1500 for all catergories tution feee: 100000 for oc/gen/obc/ews nil for sc/st examination fee : 2000 for all library fee : 500 for all gymkahna : 3000 for all hostel room rent : 1000 for all electrictiy & water charges : 2500 for all mess advance :20,000 for all medical insurance : 1,500 for all and so on you can also opt for scholarships , there are merit based scholarships and parent salary based ones too. you can opt for loan also banks come to college during ur admission so that it will be easy for students

Campus Life

infra is great but not that good compared to 1st gen iits. you will have access to books which the prof teaches. you have wifi in hostel mess and classrooms but not in roads clubs are really not that active but ive seen some changes for our jrs hopefully thay are much active in fuutre

Admission

i actually chosse this because this have new campus, new bulding compared to other 3rd tier iits. and this college got better nirf. now this college doesn't even have an nirf ranking. also for my rank and my catogery htis is the college i got according to the algorihm you can say????

Faculty

faculty to student relation is pretty good like if you want to learn something they will obviously come forward and help you. they obviously don't interfer in your personal life they just teach and leave . if you really truly cracked jee advanced these exams are piece of cake for you guys you need not worry but as per coding part you should worry

Night Life

everyhting you mentioed above are open all night you can roam all around the campus all night. but if you go outside you should report by 11 30, 12 in the night you can hangout in canteen and catchup in library

students can be eligible for placements from 3rd year only, many companies have visited the college like TATA,Accenture and many other.The highest package for this year is about 19 lakhs , average package is about 3 lakhs,talking about the percentage our college has 77% of the college placements, i am planning to pursue higher education after my graduation

Placement Experience:

We enter the placement at the end of 3rd year almost at 4th year(6th to 7th semester). The placement cell organizes various traning program, including mock interviews, group discussions, and communication skills workshops. Past 3 to 4 years more than 10 companies per year offered hiring 100+ students. But over the year the companies have come down and providing les opportunities. Companies like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, etc recruite students from this college. The highest package is 25LPA and the average package is around 6LPA. Due to the increase in the rate of admission, the percentage has been decresed. Almost 25 out of 100 students are getting placed in this college. After getting degree, I will try my level best to get placed in campus itself. If not, I am interested more in Competitive exams, I will focus on it.

Placement Experience:

From the 6th and 7th semester students are eligible gor campus placements. Students are asked to apply for the campus placements from the career development department of the college according to the marks. Some companies visited are like jspider, qspider, Xworkz, kodnest, Infosys, 3 q sutantra, toyota, triveni,idea infinity,edgeverve, eton ,dfm technology, tata elaxi, enventure and many more. And highest package in 8 to 12 LPA. The students are placed according to the companies requiments min 20 students are placed outof 50 students My plan is to get a good, high paying job after completing my graduation.

The Pros and Cons of being a student at MIT Manipal

Placement Experience:

From the7th sem onwards campus placements are put in place for btech students. Many companies such as microsoft, google, BMW, mercedes, accenture and others look for students here. The top 100 of each branch get the highest packages with the average of that being 22lpa for the cce branch. The rest of the students that are placed have an average salary of 14 lpa. Almost all the students are placed with the placement rate being around 90% for my branch. I plan on working for 2 years after getting placed and then pursuing an MBa degree abroad to further my tenure as a valuable asset to whatever company takes me under their wing.

I applied for CSE and MnC branches of all the 1st and 2nd gen IITs along with the 3rd gen IITs, my rank was about 4.8k so I knew I could get CSE only in the 3rd gen IITs out of which I felt IIT Dharwad was the best. My main reason for choosing IIT Dharwad was CSE, also that it was mentored by IIT Bombay, so the syllabus is quite tried and tested, also Dharwad is near to the tech hubs of the country like bengaluru, pune, mumbai, hyderabad which is good for someone who is really passionate about CSE. IIT Dharwad is new but not forever..

The college comes within the list the prestigious colleges 'IITs' and that is the major reason to choose this college and not any other with my rank in jee advance. all you need to do is clear jee advance with a minimum rank of 16-17k to get entered and for computer science it is around 4-5k.
