IIT DHARWAD:A Detailed Look at Academics and Campus Life

our courses is completed in 4 semested, in every semester they teach everything new.All courses are more helpful because they provide more concepts which help us in csir net exam . but in our courses , they not incuded any plant reletad knowledge like plant physiology,plant biotechnology etc.so i requested them to incuded plant releted courses.

During summer vacation here provide internship facility in every courses, mostly they provide 2 months for internship opportunities. they also provide some stipend during intership like 5000 rupees per month and also provide hostel facility where you can stay. intership projects like all lab technique knowledge.

Our college provide very fantastic placements , in every year they invited two or three companies in our college to get placements us.In last semester the students are eligible for for campus placements.Shilpa biological industry, biocon industry both company are offered the placement in last year. they told they provide highest packages 800000 rupees per year and averages 400000 per year . In our department , 2 to 3 students are getting palcements. after i completed my degree , i want to research so i admitted in phd programmes.

I am Prakash Dhir, currently admitted in msc molecular medicine courses at IIT DHARWAD. Actually this is the first batch of admission at IIT dharwad.In first semester , iit collected 59000 rupees from sc/st/pwd students and 62000 from general students. so, sc/st/pwd general 1st sem 51000 62000 2nd sem 40000 43000 3rd sem 41500 44500 4th sem 40000 43000 the details fees structure are discribe below- admission fee-300,acdemic service charge-1200,convocation fee-3000,alumni lifetime membership fee-2000,library deposits-1000,institue deposits-5000,registration fee-1500,tution fee-3000,examination fee-2000,library fee-500,gymkhana fee-3000,medical fee-2500,students benevolent fund-1000,hostel establishment charges-2500,mess establishment charges-1500,students activity estblishment charges-2000,hostel room rent-1000,electricity and water charges-2500,mess advance-20000,medical insurance premium-1500,hostel deposite-5000, tuition fee for sc/st/pwd students are nil but all others fees are same. scholarship - they provide NSP Scholarship for post graduate studies which provide 15000 per month.

Here every festval and culture are held properly and enjoyment type like dandia,holi,ganesh puja, durgha puja etc.here also present many club like photography club , singing club,danceing club,quiz club etc.in library , there are not present much more book for study.but library are studing purpose are best.classroom facilities are good , they provide projectar for study . sport facilities also good , here present gym facility, football ground, hocky etc.

Here only two hostel preent one for boys and another for girls . both hostels are 8th floor comaprtment . In every room 4 students can stay. for each students they provide one chair,one table,one almary and one bad.in mesh sometimes they provide very low quality food . but every day food mey are changed .they provide 4 times food eating facilities per day.all students which admitted in this college all of them provided hostel facilities,no required any registration process.in campus have transit facility here your parents can be stay.

i applied every IIT but i got admitted only in one IIT because in my entrance exam i did not selected every IIT only slectected this IIT. i selected two university like bhu and du but i did not admitted here because they not provide more placement offers as compared to IIT.I admited here through IIT jam exam which conducted different IIT in every year.elegebility are basic you have graduted in any one subjectes and also hove 60 percentage in your gradution.

In our department , there are total 6 teachers and students are 12 . Here faculty and students relationship are very well , they teach everything in very well . Subhas sir is my best teacher in my department because he teach very clearly every cancepts as compared to others faculty.Shudhansu sir and Bal Krishna sir both are sometimes not discuss clearly , so i do not like this .here , taken 2 quize exam , 1 med sem and 1 end in each semester, and one semester is completed in 4 months . in our department , there are not failed any students.

Here gymkhana and library both re 24 hours open for both girls and boys.in hostel have some common room here both girls and boys also studied.in college campus not any one have permission to enter so they provide safe facilitiy for us also campus is covered by boundaries so not entered anyone in the campus.in campus not present any hangout place but outside the campus there are many place present where we enjoy like unkal lake , dandeli etc.
