Course Curriculum Overview

4

Course curriculum is pretty flexible and cover all the basic elements of the bioscience domain. The college operates as per the guidelines of Tata Institute of Fundamental Research (TIFR) for course structure.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure for the M. Sc. course is pretty nominal. Entire course fee was around INR 2,000. There were some additional charges as well. Overall the college is a dream place to be, irrespective of how much you got in your bank account.

Fees and Financial Aid

Scholarship options are available for the meritorious students on the basis of an interview.

Campus Life

4

Campus life is pretty nice. College got pretty decent infrastructure and a glorious sports complex. The sports complex includes a fully-equipped gymnasium along with facilities for indoor sports such as squash, badminton, and table tennis. Outdoor sports including cricket, football, tennis and basketball. Social life is also good.

Hostel Facilities

4.5

Hostel facilities are also provided for the students. The accommodation amenities provided are pretty good, college caters to the hygienic and tasty food supplies to the students. Institute also has guest house facilities which are usually used to accommodate national and international students

Admission

Admission is on the basis of an entrance test conducted by the university. I filled two separate forms for two different subjects and appeared for two separate entrance tests. Students are called for counselling based on their test scores.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Food and nutrition articles in newspaper made me to take this course. As it had full scope in that time. Actually curriculum is very poor in preparing us for real world application. Practical session must include more of industrial visits and projects related to industry. We had enough time to study .

Course Curriculum Overview:

I liked this biotechnology course in degree(Bsc) and i wanted to continue this course with higher studies. Hence this university is reputed one in Karnataka.. i choose this one and I got the seat and I am very happy for this. The teaching methods are really good but it depends on particular lecturers, how they teach .. For main sem exam the time was around 3 hours for 70 marks and it was moderate and can be manageable

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is fairly distributed among the 2 years. The first year broadly covers the course work, and learning of the laboratory techniques. Followed by a mini project and a major project under a professor of interest. Stem cell biology always intrigued me and this course offered exactly what I want. The curriculum focuses on training students very rigorously to make them fit for harsh conditions and situations in the real research world.
