Course Curriculum Overview

The five year PhD program includes an intensive research work for the most part, followed by writing a research paper. The intensive research work got the aid of the books provided in the library and the notes and valuable insight provided by my mentor.

Placement Experience

The mandate of NCBS is basic and interdisciplinary research in the frontier areas of biology. The research dividends of the faculty are in four broad areas ranging from the study of solitary molecules to systems biology.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee for my Masters in Biology program was a mere 2k. College is the most budget-friendly institute for the Biological Sciences program in India. On prime of that, the facilities provided by the institute are top-notch.

Campus Life

Sports activities and cultural events are celebrated throughout the year. The Swimming pool is the central highlight and joy of this campus, supervised by lifeguards and treated to maintain the very highest standards of cleanliness and safety. A climbing fence decorates the east side of the Southern lab complex.

Admission

Admission is on the basis of an entrance test conducted by the university. I filled two separate forms for two different subjects and appeared for two separate entrance tests. Students are called for counseling founded on their test records.

Faculty

4

Most of the faculty is very much supportive, especially my mentor. They guided us throughout the process, aiding us in the exhaustive process of research work and writing an acceptable research paper. Now when I look back I feel it would have been impossible it weren?t from them.

Placement Experience:

The placements are quite good . Placement for computer science branch is very nice. Average package all around branches is like 3.5 to 4.5 LPA. The highest package is around 27LPA. If we didn't get any placements means we need to develop more skills and attend and offline interview and get placed.

Placement Experience:

There is a mandatory internship for students during the summer break after their 1st year of MSc. BASE Placement Cell (BPC) is responsible to look after the placement and internship opportunities for the students. However, the students need to opt-in for their service or they can handle it on their own. The first batch will graduate in the year 2022 and hence there is no placement record for the same.
