Course Curriculum Overview

5

I chose this course becaize mathematics is the way to learn logics which can help in coding difficult questions with more logics , the frequency of exams will be like 1 month every one month we will have to take one exam , the course is perfect nothing to be inproved but maths should be made relevant

Internships Opportunities

3

We have Cdot , mercedes benz, microsoft such companies for interships , we dont have much internship facilities provided by college it is better to find any internship outside . Thw projects like developing AI related websites or making websites for a company etc

Placement Experience

2

From 6th semester students are eligible for taking interships and they get placed in 7th semester and have to leave campus after 8th semester the highest would somewhere aroubd 20 lpa and avg would be 9 to 10 lpa . I plan to do Mtech in any reputed college by writing gate . The percentage of studebts getting placed are 70 %

Fees and Financial Aid

Tution fee 220000 per year Library fee 1000,celebrations 1000 Sports 2000,,other fee like exam fees and collge maintenance 15000 OPD support 2000 Student welfare fund 5000 Admission fee 12000 Alumini fee 3000 OD card and certificate fee 2000 Training and placement 3000 Hostel fee and mess fee : 100000 Same fee for EWS OBC AND GENERAL but for SC and ST no tution fees just have to pay mess fee. There are no scholarships provided by college on merit based

Campus Life

3

The campus life is not that good as we dont have any freshers or any parties or big events that are held with in campus, but we have great bond with seniors , there will be no ragging at all , the books are not that available every book is not present in the library , the sports were good enough we have a cricket ground volleyball, kabaddi, basketball etc, the clubs are not that active except coding and photography clubs , the classrooms are good enough with ac ac and digital board and projector also

Hostel Facilities

4

Hostel was pretty good , we have 7 sharing rooms which makes some noisy and clumpsy in the room but that is only for 1st yrs and for second year onwards we have 3 members sharing , Food was pretty good every sunday we have chicken biryani for night , We have a bed , a study table and chair and almara for each student ,

Admission

I got to this college by josaa councelling , i had a option of local colleges but i got a branch MNC that too in a national college so joined in this collge, for my rank i got this college , the exam accepted was jee mains , cutoff would be like 50000 rank in jee mains crl

Faculty

5

We have three branches CSE, MNC,AIDS , in the first year AIDS and MNC have same faculty and classes were taken together , due to lack of faculry and classes . Faculty approach to the students during the class check whether we are participating in the class or not , and our best faculty was debmalya sain sir who teach very good , one of the best faculty who makes every student to undesmrstand his point that he want to deliver. We have 4 months for one semister and it was divided into 6 segments . The subjects are given 2 or 3 segments to finish the course some may have 6 segments too. The exams are conducted a week after the syllabus was completed , the exams were not that tough to get failed bit are moderate , The curriculum was excellent because we learn only the needed things , not unnecessary was taught . The exams were held as mid sem and end sem whenever the syllabus is completed for the particular segment, and marking scheme was grading . Relative grading was followed .

Night Life

4

Late night play ludo , uno and some online games with friends in rooms , we have healthy bond with everyone , no fighting or etc , everyone will be superchill, gym was not that welll equiped , we have a hill infornt of our hostel that is our hangout place ,

Placement Experience:

After completion of the course students are divided to teachers and the food industries are come to college and interview us and the student is eligible they can select. Some standard food related companies are visited nestle, ITC mysore , sulawines and some other companies also. The CGPA of the students is 7.5 or more is good below this also get selected but more than 7.5 is good. My plan is after completion of course then do work and get some experience in the industries and some of the time I am going to select a product and launch it over the world.

They start conducting placements activities from the 2nd year itself like AMCAT preparation, skillrack, etc. So the students become eligible for campus placements from 7th sem itself. Many companies like TCS, Diggibyte, Zoho, etc. and the offers are from 3 lakh to 16 lakh per annum. Percentage of students getting placements are about 90% My plan is to get into the IT sector as i have an interest to explore and enhance my technical skills

Placement Experience:

I applied to colleges like BMSIT and Sir MVIT, and I had confirmed seats there, too. I chose RNSIT because it has a better reputation for placements in my branch and the campus environment felt more welcoming. I didn't get into RVCE because my KCET rank wasn't high enough for their top branches, as the competition was very tough that year. The admission process is simple. They mainly take students through KCET and COMEDK. You need at least 45% in your 12th boards (PCM). Most students prefer KCET because the fees are lower. Once the seat is allotted through counseling, you just visit the campus, submit your documents, and pay the fees. The whole process was quite smooth and well-organized."

From 6th sem students are eligible for placement and for intership even 3rd and 4th sem students are eligible to apply if they are well skilled. Recently JP Morgan visited in our college for summer internship no students got selected due to low skill,l. I our college the highest package was 34LPA in 2023 and average package was 7LPA. Almost 70-75% students got placed in their 8th sem. My plan after getting the degree I want build an startup.

Placements for all branches are available..Even for ECE department coding is thought..A really good percentage of students have been placed with good packages previous years..Some of the companies that visit are Infosys, JP Morgan, TCS, and startups.. Placements eligibility depends on your CGPA and the level of placement traingbrxams provided by the college..

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is very unique, and very new, we are not taught irrelevant subjects and topics like every university does, Polaris school of technology (PST) is a new gen college which mainly focuses on tech, producing the best engineers not amongst india but amongst the world, it's aim is to produce engineers who are better than IITians and MITians, all these specifications influenced me to choose this course/curriculum When it comes to real-world applications, Polaris school of technology(PST) gives us real-life problems and scenario based projects through evaluations which help us in the future and helps us to build a proper approach for problems and train us to be the best. We have two main exams per sem which would be conducted every 3 months that is ½th of the sem, we have a total of 8 sems, so total 16 exams, our exams would be difficult for other college students, but not for us as we have the best mentors.
