Students view on course curriculum and examination of the college

The course was a very easy and thought upon decision for me because this has been my aim since 2016, the curriculum of Bangalore North University is quite unsteady, but in terms of potions and vastness, it stands out. The course curriculum can be improved with regular checkups in terms of the delay in terms and examination corrections. The exams are quite easy and not that difficult at all, the only thing you need to focus on is how you can elaborate a sentence into a paragraph. Like even if the question is a 2-mark question but given for 5 marks, you got to know how to elaborate.

Fees of the course per year and merit based scholarship provided by the college

The fees structure depends on which course your from, is states then lesser and if isc or cbse its more. If you have quota or certificate of merit that can be applied as well. Like siblings or sports. My fees came around 1 lakh 15 thousand for one yr (if states syllabus or lower caste quota is there 95 thousand) Internships is to be applied by students, and Scholarship is provided for student above 8.8 or so gpa The fees structure can be paid in 2 installments. 50/50.

Various seminars and clubs available in the college

The campus life is very chill, compared to other colleges, like you will have minimum freedom. And not enormous restrictions like other colleges, we have many cultural activities and a number of different fests going on with educational seminars that are held. We have a student council, and various clubs like ecoclub, cultural club, Hindi club and everything. There are students representatives for the grievances and any problem related enquiries.

Students view on faculties

There are 30 students in my course and it's a lot earlier to handle for 1 teacher. (regarding the attention and selective attention to students) Voices of concern is carried out easily since it's a small number and teachers are quite easy and friendly to talk to. There are a lot of well-qualified teachers handling the faculty and students

Eligibility criteria to get admission in the college

The eligibility for the course is 12th and 10th pass students. The application form is available at the reception of the college, pls ask all the related documents to be brought by them, the application fees is 1500/- which is to be paid online. The application opening will be on the website. (Reservation will be done after paying the fees) There will be semester end final exams by the Bangalore University along with mid term or pre final examination, conducted by the college.

The place is small but beautiful, located in the heart of the city
One stop metro station, helps people coming from far places

Dislikes

The PG and UG share the same lab facilities that sometimes inconveniences us both
The parking space and sports involvement is comparatively less

Admission:

The eligibility criteria states that the applicant must have finished their 12th with above 80% in any of the Indian boards. Offline and online application through website is available. Once the application is done the college office will give you a call detailing the interview process and documents required. The interview is easy and mostly centered on your interests and previous goals. You'll be given an entrance exam. If you get in you'll get a call walking you through the admission process. There's a concession for reservation categories

The campus life is really good, i get to know many people and since the campus is small we all know each other.
Infrastructure in general is amazing. A small campus but very very green. The lawn area is the spot to just sit and chat with friends.

Admission:

First It is mandatory to have a bachelor's in psychology or a pg diploma. Otherwise you can also apply through the Bangalore North University by Counseling process. For Masters basic psychology knowledge can be useful for the course. I had an entrance exam and then an Interview. The exam was written MCQ and not very difficult but the selection process mainly is based on interview performance. Very simple and easy admission process. You can fill the online admission form or directly go to the college and apply.

Life at Montfort College

Admission:

One has to have a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology to apply for this course. In which the student is required to have a percentage score above 50%. The application details which include the form, guidelines, and the dates will be put up on the College's Website. After the completion of the application process, the College will send a mail containing the following information: Date of Entrance Exam, Portions to be covered for the exam, and the Schedule of the Entrance exam. The Entrance exam will begin with a written test, after which the students will be called for a personal interview and then the student will be asked to participate in a group discussion. The results of the Entrance Exam will be mailed in a short while (1 week Max) Once the results are published the student will be required to pay the academic fees and the hostel fees (if one opts for the same).

Admission:

Good environment. Can openly talk to teachers. Library facility is available. Canteen food is not great so carry food from home. Students and faculty do get along well. Negative is there is no good placement.
