About BNU
Bengaluru North University came into existence in 2015 following the trifurcation of the former Bangalore University. Also referred to as BNU Karnataka, the institution has several affiliated colleges under it. BNU is recognized by University Grants Commission (UGC) and accredited with C grade by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC). The University offers postgraduate courses in Arts, Science, Commerce, Education, Social work, and Library and Information science. Bengaluru North University Scholarship
The university does not have private or institutional scholarships. But through the e-Pass facility of the Government of Karnataka, it provides Government scholarships to the students. The e-Pass is the gateway for all forms of scholarships. Scholarships for economically weaker section students and the ones for SC and ST students are facilitated through the University college's website. Scholarships are also provided for meritorious students.

I studied my PUC in the same college and I thought it would be the best option for me to continue studying in the same college and also the culturals and different activities in the college were good and understand that each student has an opportunity for learning different skills.
Likes
- The things what I liked were that girls and boys weren't differed everyone were treated equally and each and every students have equal authorities to be in class
- There are many culturals and sports activities which takes place in our college every student will have lots of advantages in any either way

- Few teachers are pretty rude and there teaching skills are kind of down

I applied to kristu jayanthi college i did get an interview from there but they tried to switch me to other courses which I didn't want to take they gave me a choice and didn't let me choose what I wanted that is the reason I chose New horizon college. I didn't get rejected over there, it's just I chose not to go because it was also far from the place where I stayed. The admission process is simple just full the application form and the cut of is for the one who scored more than 85% have a cut off upto 15000. The admission experience was good because the people spoke to us very kindly

- The college is very beautiful and the food that offers in the canteen is very good. Me and my friends always have the food from the canteen because of its taste and it also very affordable prices. There are a wide range of cuisine.
- In this college we can play many games and there are turf, Basketball ground , Badminton court.
Dislikes
- The room in the hostel is not very good but our room is good.
- The hostel mess is not at all good and it is not at all healthy.

I have apply for other colleges like jain and christu jayanthi but my decided course was not there so I didn't take admission there.I didn't caught any rejection from other colleges. The admission process in my college is little bit tough because there are many procedure

Eligibility for the admission was we had to be 12th passed The admission process is basically offline mode and you have to visit the campus for it It costs 1000 rs for the application form Reservation stuffs it's available but i ain't having nuch idea about it

- Hostel is not maintained as it has to be. Maintenance is very slow
- Badminton is not well maintained and in bad condition

I applied for itc diploma in hotel management. But i didn't see any future through it. And i also applied for CU AND LOVELY UNIVERSITY But i choose this because this college is an army college and only for defense wards.

- The college is so good in campus. It also has a very good ambience around with nature

- No proper leave schedule. Semester breaks are way less compared to other colleges

I took my admission through an agency company. The late joiners would have to pay the donation amount as well. Fee payments are to be made in the beginning of every year completely in order to write the semester examinations

There was no criteria for getting in new horizon and i did not weitr any entrance exams. U can get information about the college on their website and apply for the college by going there in person. The college could set a criteria and entrance exams in order to get more refined students and get a good name.

- I found good college. The college's programs, nature, and instruction are all good.
- The placement facility exists; most of my friends got jobs and are now working; for freshers only, they give 25k salary, which I appreciate.
Dislikes
- In universities, they ignore students' mistakes and scold them instead of advising them
- New rules are being implemented, and we have not adjusted to them.
Admission:
After completing our undergraduate studies, we must apply for master's degrees online. We will need marks, an Aadhar card, a caste income certificate, a study certificate, rural certificate,if we studied in government school upto 10th in kannada medium we will get benefits.

- The faculty is trained with half of them having doctorate
- The place is small but beautiful, located in the heart of the city
Dislikes
- The canteen is small and the options are limited
- The PG and UG share the same lab facilities that sometimes inconveniences us both

The eligibility criteria states that the applicant must have finished their 12th with above 80% in any of the Indian boards. Offline and online application through website is available. Once the application is done the college office will give you a call detailing the interview process and documents required. The interview is easy and mostly centered on your interests and previous goals. You'll be given an entrance exam. If you get in you'll get a call walking you through the admission process. There's a concession for reservation categories

To get admission in M.Com at BNU Kolar, you need to have passed B.Com with 50% and the selection will be done based on merit followed by counselling.
At BNU Kolar, you will get placement after the 6th semester.
The first-year fee for the MA course is INR 8,062. The total fee is INR 16,124. The candidates who have done graduation are eligible to enroll in the MA program.
