Likes

Teachers teaching style is very good and also nice behaviour
I liked the campus and the environment of the college
Also like the course and students who gave me excellent memories with them

Dislikes

I didn't like the distance from my home 😔..it's 28 km away from me
I didn't like the college political programs
Also didn't like the some things which is I can't explain now

Course Curriculum Overview

The course help me to learn many things and I think teaching methods is good ,the frequency of exams is good ,the curriculum prepares me to social work and give me knowledge about social work,and I really very satisfied

Class Size: 90Course Fees: INR 1750 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The year wise fees I paid every year admission time, registration fees was 500/- Admission fees was 1750/- Lab fees and other compulsory charges during the course was as per obc category 300/- And the schoolarship I get 3500/-

Campus Life

The name of annual function is social program,new students fresher welcome program,basanto utsab is very entertaining,and also Saraswati Puja is grand celebrated,and teachers day is grand celebrated very well

Admission

I choose this college because the college environment I liked and liked the college campuse and also like the course,the admission process is very easy , overall admission experience was good , And I suggest students to admission in this college

Faculty

I liked the sociology subject teacher who tech me many things of social work and I , And also like the students helping each other, I didn't like the college political programs There are 3 exam and it's easy if we study well

Night Life

There is a campus and nice canteen and a little garden ..and also big area to playing football cricket and I never forgot the common room where we seat peacfully also like the canteen staffs behaviour

Students become eligible for campus placements from the 6th semester where you have to do an internship project for the semester based Most of the companies that visit are from the news organisations like Bangalore Times, The Hindu, Mint, Times of India, Deccan Herald and other companies like ITC also visit frequently. I am not quite sure about the packages offered.

I choose economics because it is very much relevant to the present generation as well as the previous. As economics needs analytics skills it prepares for current world. Exams were every 3-4 months frequently and it is not difficult to pass.

My college life in Jyoti Nivas College

Placement Experience:

By the end of the 2nd semester, we are constantly notified about any vacancies in any department. The college placement cell sends us notifications through our class monitors or sometimes throyoutlr HOD. Even after the end of our final semester exam, we are added in a group that is specially meant for job opportunities and placements, where they constantly update and notify us. Out of 32 students in our class, a total of 12 students got placement. As for me, my plan is to do PhD in the said field.

My Campus story

Course Curriculum Overview:

Curriculum is relevant for us which helps us to attempt competitive exams. Actually the curriculum changes our mindset and it helps to face the real society. I don't think that improvements needes in curriculum. We get one & half hour for internal tests and 3 hours for sem exams and it is enough foe us to cover whole question paper.
