Established in 1987, Kuvempu University is a state university located in Shimoga, Karnataka. The university is UGC approved, NAAC accredited with ‘A’ grade. Kuvempu University admissions are based on both merits of candidate’s qualifying examinations and entrance tests conducted by the university itself. To enter this course you have to be either from science or commerce background. Science students are given more preference. No entrance exam is given. Minimum 60% in pu is enough to enter bca. No reservations available. Admission can be done by conducting entrance exams

Admission:
First this is that it have the best environment with good nature vibes every where and peacefull surroundings. There will be the entrance exam to any course you need and you should have atleast 70% in you degree for further application. You need to put the application of 100rs and there will be date of announcement for exam after the entrance exam you will be allotted with the seats in this university. I can tell that it's the best university with good professors.

The eligibility course is the maximum we have to achieve a good percentage in the previous year that may increase confidence in faculties to give seats for students I am a commerce student my percentage is 87. I choose the b.com course It may give a lot of opportunities in front of students. application forms are located in from the form of the college it is easily convincing to the students coming to the fees of college is approximately 2500 rs it will varry from the year if students are joining this college it gives so many of benifits of the students like cultural, sports, increase the healthy competition between the students*i think I don't want any improvement sees in administration prosses the admission process already in good

The placement is very good. Every student gets good placement well reputed and renowned companies, the curriculum was excellent. Fantastic atmosphere, and a free campus. There is a strong relationship between teachers & students. Students are involved in project work. Teachers give continuous support. BIHE provides excellent infrastructure in respect of classrooms, labs, innovation cells, and smart classrooms.

For admission, BSc with chemistry, and one subject is needed, you can visit the college or apply online, reservation is avail for rural, Kannada medium, NCC, NSS, and athletic students, fees will be only 10k-15k.

I visited my parent's campus and the facilities are so good the way they communicated with parents and they told all information regarding placements of college and the courses and all. Then they should improve more language communication with students like they should only prefer English because they always talk in Kannada even the facilities.

Admission to the Kuvempu University PhD is made based on marks secured in the entrance examination.
Aspirants seeking admission to 2 years Full-time M.Sc. program should have passed B.Sc degree of Kuvempu University or UGC recognized University with any three of the following options; Biotechnology, Botany, Zoology, Chemistry, Biochemistry/ Microbiology/ Sericulture/Computer Science or B.Sc Biotechnology with any other two optional papers, B.Sc. Agri., B.Sc Horticulture, B.Sc Forestry, B.F.Sc and B.V. Sc from the recognized University.
The MCA management quota fee structure has not been disclosed in online mode by Kuvempu University.
For admission to PhD in English you need to have passed Master’s with 55% or more and then appear for NET exam. And as of now, the exam is over and you need to appear for next year around June 2024.

If you haven’t appeared for PGCET exam then you cannot get admission to PG courses at KU Shimoga.
There is no age limit criteria available in online mode for pursuing PhD in Kuvempu University.
The Karnataka PGCET 2024 Exam will be conducted in the second week of November 2024. It will be organized by KEA (Karnataka Examination Authority).

Kuvempu University offers the MSc in microbiology course. It does not offer an MSc in life sciences or zoology.
