IDSG Government College Chikmagalur was established in 1948 by the government of Karnataka. The college is situated in Chikkamagaluru district. The college is one of oldest government institutions of Karnataka and affiliated to Kuvempu University, Shimoga. The college having a sprawling campus which is surrounded by calm and education friendly environment, conducive for quality higher education. IDSG Government College Chikkamagaluru is known for its excellent academics. The college offers undergraduate courses.
The college having a well-structured library, Daily News Papers which may add credit in the improvement of the students general knowledge and the college having a more attention towards the study we have arranged a separate computer lab for the students. The lab has been set with new modernized computers with an experienced and highly qualified lecturer to teach computers for students. The college having good facilitated lab with modernized equipment’s for each sections which makes easier for knowing the subjects practically and more effectively.

BBA, B. SC. BA, B. COM. In college, the application form will be given. I don't know about the reservation. They have given online admission processes in the college to make comfortable admission in the college which will help students to apply Faster.

For admission, BSc with chemistry, and one subject is needed, you can visit the college or apply online, reservation is avail for rural, Kannada medium, NCC, NSS, and athletic students, fees will be only 10k-15k.

Starting we have to complete our Pu in any stream this college provides various options for a degree program. There are many branches are there in here like Bsc BA Bcom. BSc chemistry physics mathematics Biotechnology zoology botany in BCom and in Ba journalism. The joining process is easy we have to full fill college form and payment check amount in the bank and submit it to the college and join which course You're interested in.

Good college for academic adventure.Having less class rooms is a negative remark apart from this it is great to study here.good environment and well maintained garden, experienced faculty good felicity.

The college is good but too old. The college has provided every facility for the students. The only bad thing about this college is the toilets. The labs are old but the components in the lads will be replaced every year. The infrastructure of the college is good.

The college is good with large infrastructure and it has got good faculties. Since it is a government college some places of the college are not good especially the toilets. One more thing is everything in this college is old but we can manage those things.

The remark is, this is a government college and all labs, classrooms and everything in this college is old even the buildings. The toilets are not good and nobody cleans it also. This government degree college should be very much improved for the future students.

there are some of the facilities which were provided by the college which was very good but some of them were not so good but it was appreciable to me. but now the college has improved a lot when compared to the situations which were there when I was studying. the overall experience of this college is good and affordable.
