Course Curriculum Overview

I choose economics because it is very much relevant to the present generation as well as the previous. As economics needs analytics skills it prepares for current world. Exams were every 3-4 months frequently and it is not difficult to pass.

Fees and Financial Aid

Year wise fees - 7230(2022) & 4840.(2023) No tution fees. Govt fee of 2 yrs- 1250 & 1150. Non govt fee of 2 yrs- 2730 & 2440 University fees of 2 yrs - 3215 & 1215 Other fees of 2 yrs- 35 & 35 SSP scholarship - & NSP scholarship

Campus Life

4

Talents day will be held on 1&3 sem , college days held on 2&4 sem. Our college has very good library as includes all the books students need and it is available for every student. Sports and extra curricular activities happens frequently.

Admission

I choose this college instead of other colleges for fees and quality of education purpose. I haven't applied for any other colleges as this is the best college here. By applying for course after all the application process we will get the admission and 50% of marks is the eligibility.

Faculty

5

Faculty and students relationship is very good in this college as compared to other colleges. Faculties are approachable at any time for us. We got the best teachers like Dr. Gopalakrishna. M. Gaonkar sir, Swathi madam, Amitha Madam, Shrilata Mam, Sathish sir. Actually I didn't like Rashmi mam because she was repeating the same things many many times without any changes and not explaining in deeper. We have 4 semester exams and it is not at all difficult as no one fails so. Curriculum is very much relevant as I choose economics.

Night Life

3

We have clean and good canteen. Our college is located in rural Udupi so it is free from the noises. College starts at 9:30. Our favourite hangout place is the canteen. The locality is safe but the population over there very less.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements from the 6th semester where you have to do an internship project for the semester based Most of the companies that visit are from the news organisations like Bangalore Times, The Hindu, Mint, Times of India, Deccan Herald and other companies like ITC also visit frequently. I am not quite sure about the packages offered.

Placement Experience:

By the end of the 2nd semester, we are constantly notified about any vacancies in any department. The college placement cell sends us notifications through our class monitors or sometimes throyoutlr HOD. Even after the end of our final semester exam, we are added in a group that is specially meant for job opportunities and placements, where they constantly update and notify us. Out of 32 students in our class, a total of 12 students got placement. As for me, my plan is to do PhD in the said field.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Curriculum is relevant for us which helps us to attempt competitive exams. Actually the curriculum changes our mindset and it helps to face the real society. I don't think that improvements needes in curriculum. We get one & half hour for internal tests and 3 hours for sem exams and it is enough foe us to cover whole question paper.

curriculum is extensive and large and some students find it hard to grasp all the knowledge given for the syllabus. it may seem daunting at first but i rather prefer this than having little to nothing to study as it helps me find new things to read which i would have never figured out before.
