Course Curriculum Overview
The course deals with different intersections of social, economic and ecological academic disciplines. The readings are really interesting and are according to latest academic references. The assessment pattern can be improved. Assignments are better because they give us an opportunity to reflect. Handwritten exams do not help that way.
Internships Opportunities
Field immersion and internships are part of the course. Students are sent all over the country for field immersion and internships. Stipend is available for accomodation and food for students on need based scholarships
Placement Experience
Placement Cell is very active. There are various opportunities from different NGOs, grassroots' organisations, international organizations and think tanks. Average packages are around 50,000 to 60,000 per month.
Fees and Financial Aid
College fee is 50k, and There are need-based scholarships available. People with work experience can also avail scholarships. Many campus offices also provide earning opportunities through internships. Anyone whose parents earn less than seven lakh per annum can avail scholarships.
Campus Life
The campus life is vibrant with different opportunites to involvement in Community Engagement Cell, Social Enterprises Cell and various sports. There are also many student-run clubs and student festivals.
Admission
The admission process includes an entrance exam and an exhaustive interview process. The interview mostly discusses the student's academic and work experiences and qualifications. Also, knowing how the student's interests align with development sector.
Faculty
The faculty is dynamic, comes from various fields of academia and the ratio is adequate to give students exposure to mentors from various academic and research backgrounds. The faculty's academic credentials are wonderful. They are very resourceful and helpful
