Bengaluru North University was established in 2015 by trifurcating the erstwhile Bangalore University as notified by the Government of Karnataka. BNU Karnataka is located at Sri Devaraj Urs extension, Tamaka, Kolar a city in Karnataka.

UGC affiliated BNU Karnataka offers full-time Postgraduate programs in Arts, Science, Commerce, and Education.

Graduation degree holders in the relevant subjects can apply for PG courses through the application process.
BNU offers courses like MA, M.Sc, M.Com, MSW, M.LIB.I.SC and M.Ed in different streams.
The admissions to this University will be given on the basis of the Merit formed after evaluating the student’s marks in 12th and degree depending on the course by the counseling process.

The student who has opted for and taken admission in the Payment seat shall not seek a transfer for Regular seat.

Candidates who have secured 40% marks in the aggregate of all subjects and 50% marks in the cognate subject at the Bachelor’s Degree level can apply. There are 5 specializations in the MA & 1 in MSW course which is tabulated below with intake

Bengaluru North University M.Com Eligibility criteria:

Candidates who have passed the three-year B.Com./ B.B.M. degree examination of Bangalore University or any other University considered as equivalent.
The candidate shall obtain not less than 50% (45% for SC/ST/Category) marks in the aggregate in Commerce subjects.

NHCM is a good to college

Admission:

I did not applied for a lot of colleges. The other colleges i applied were not good enough and some were more expensive. Others had entrance exams which i did not preffered at that moment. Meanwhile this particular college was better in terms of fee structure and technical curriculum. The location of this college was also one of the reason i enrolled here. It is located at the city centre surrounded by tech park and IT industries giving the college and students a better expsoure as compare to other colleges which are generally located at outskirts devoid of such exposures. The admission proccess is very simple and easy. There's no entrance exam conducted for admission. Though a cut of 50% is mandatory. Apart from that the admission department is very helpul. They ensure you dont have to face any problem during the same.
