Bengaluru North University was established in 2015 by trifurcating the erstwhile Bangalore University as notified by the Government of Karnataka. BNU Karnataka is located at Sri Devaraj Urs extension, Tamaka, Kolar a city in Karnataka.

- Candidates who have passed the three-year B.Com./ B.B.M. degree examination of Bangalore University or any other University considered as equivalent.
- The candidate shall obtain not less than 50% (45% for SC/ST/Category) marks in the aggregate in Commerce subjects.
