Sampurna Montfort College Review

Likes

The faculty is trained with half of them having doctorate
The place is small but beautiful, located in the heart of the city
One stop metro station, helps people coming from far places

Dislikes

The canteen is small and the options are limited
The PG and UG share the same lab facilities that sometimes inconveniences us both
The parking space and sports involvement is comparatively less

Fees and Financial Aid:

I paid a total of 90,000 excluding the exam fee which is subjective based on certain aspects like reservation, yearly income and your performance. I paid 300 for my semester exams. As of now, there's no scholarships Or campus employment that I've heard of

The Montfort experience

Likes

The campus is green and vibrant in terms of environment
The canteen and hostel facilities are good, since both girls and boys hostel is the the college campus
The seats available are fewer and hence makes up for the lesser students = more attention

Dislikes

The fact the college was a master's college and the UG term was issued only at 2021.
There are a lot of last minute notices in terms of cultural activities
The Staff members are not very permanent.

Fees and Financial Aid:

The fees structure depends on which course your from, is states then lesser and if isc or cbse its more. If you have quota or certificate of merit that can be applied as well. Like siblings or sports. My fees came around 1 lakh 15 thousand for one yr (if states syllabus or lower caste quota is there 95 thousand) Internships is to be applied by students, and Scholarship is provided for student above 8.8 or so gpa The fees structure can be paid in 2 installments. 50/50.

The Montfort Experience

Likes

The campus life is really good, i get to know many people and since the campus is small we all know each other.
Infrastructure in general is amazing. A small campus but very very green. The lawn area is the spot to just sit and chat with friends.
The faculty are really friendly and also we can share anything with them. The teaching also is really good

Dislikes

The college is affiliated with BNU therefore many times the dates of holidays or exams are known at the last moment.
The canteen is limited and not much variety in the menu bit it works for me.

Fees and Financial Aid:

The annual fee is 154000. The fees is pretty high compared to other colleges which do offer the same course a little less in fee. There are plenty of scholarships and also quotas where the fee can vary depending on certain criterias taken. If you visit the website there is full details on the different quotas available.

Life at Montfort College

Fees and Financial Aid:

The academic fee is 130000 per year. There are several scholarship opportunities for students. The Management provides financial assistance for students in need. The hostel fees per semester are 65200 for a single room and 59200 for twin sharing rooms.

This college is best known for counselling

Fees and Financial Aid:

Single child scholarship is available but only for one sem. Same is with for those who belong to SC/ST/ OBC. But only gor one sem. Best option is to apply through BU. If money is the problem. No other scholarship is available. But make sure you enquire it from the office.

The college offers Scholarship programs. They give scholarship for only female students there is usually a deduction from the total amount of fees that needs to be paid in the college office. They also offer scholarship for the outstanding students in college. They also help students in cases where they don't have the paying capacity.
