- WBJEE 2024 Counselling schedule for Pharmacy admissions has been released at wbjeeb.nic.in. Round 1 Seat Allotment results were released on Oct 4, 2024 and payment of the seat acceptance fee and reporting to allotted institutes for document verification and admission will begin from Oct 4, 2024 till Oct 23, 2024. Further, Round 2 Seat Allotment results will be declared on Oct 25, 2024. Check detailed schedule here
- WBJEEB has released the WB JELET Round 1 Counselling Schedule for lateral entry admissions to the Engineering/ Technology/ Pharmacy courses. The registration and choice locking is open till October 6, and the Seat Allotment Results will be released on October 10. The last date for reporting and fee payment against the Round 1 Seat Allotment List is October 15.

JIS University, under its JISUMS scheme, offers scholarships to meritorious and financially weak students of society. The scholarship amount, extending up to 100% on tuition fees of the total course fees, is awarded on the basis of the assessment of prospective candidates by the JISUMS Committee. - Labs are more like a museum most of things don't really work at all and always have to struggle during practicals
- Teachers talk mostly in Bengali except few teachers not English.
Admission:
Main reason I've applied for this college was short distance from my home and scholarship facility which provides some comfort... actually i was late in admission as other colleges admission dates were already passed so it was my last option but i won't regret the decision as college life here in JIS university taught me many things

- Faculty is really good and helping they do help !
- Labs are taken on time and is made clear to us very well
Dislikes
- I disliked the fact that the rooms get too hot during sumer
- There should have been one ac that could have turned on in classes during hot , except smart class room and auditorium
Admission:
I got into the college from the fact my sister has passed out from this colllege and she recommended me this college and i got in it!! The admission process was really easy you first need to have a talk with the principal with your paresnts and then fill some documents in the office and its done

- College timings are flexible along with discipline

- Toilets are not clean and the water their is kinda not good
Admission:
I chose this college because this college provided the course I wanted. With better laboratories and good placements. They help us with everything and the labs r the best with the course I took which is chemistry base.
Likes
- Friendly and supportive environment among student and professors.
- Also has a good library, a football ground and also TT room
Dislikes
- Don't have proper drinking water or a good canteen to have your meal
- Washrooms are poor, dirty and don't expect any proper knowledge from the professors
Admission:
I was applying for private colleges in Calcutta the total fee structure was quite low in this college compared to other private colleges and hence I took admission in this plus here the attendance is not mandatory so you have to keep it at 75%. You can get into this college by directly applying or you can come here from wbjee counselling.

- There is no compulsion of 75% attendance and the faculty are really chill about it.
- Fees structure is affordable compared to the other private colleges
Dislikes
- Teaches can be better and more helpful it seems they do not have depth knowledge about the subject
- Bathroom is really untidy and dirty and there is no filtered water available in the college
Admission:
I choose this college because it was near my home and attendance was not compulsory there. I apply to one or two colleges but the problem was distance and fees also because this college was kind of affordable and I was a Little Low on budget. I didn't even attempt any government exams like JEE or WBJEE

- Highly educated teachers give us opportunity to work on research papers and patents.
- Our Campus Life is excellent. Very big and beautiful campus with many extra curricular activities.
Dislikes
- Our Canteen food is worst. Quality is not good.
- Hostel food is also bad. Students of hostel order food from outside
Admission:
I have applied for Brainware University but it is not so good in terms of placements and the course. I didn't get any rejection from a college. Our college required min 70% marks in 10th and 10+2 th and qualification in exams like WBJEE ,JEE MAINS,CEE AMPAI with a good percentile.In WBJEE cut off is arround 60000

- I like the environment of the college. Our campus is filled with trees which is a beautiful
- The behaviour of our lecturers are very friendly and help us in every step.
Dislikes
- Our college have a canteen which keeps closed maximum of time which I don't like .
Admission:
If anyone wants to be addmission in our college he/she needs to be either diploma passed or shout have science in 12th. Addmission process is very easy. Normally the course fee varies from 180000-20000 depending on which course the person wants to take addmission. Because our college comes under makait board the exams are quite hard.

- The infrastructure is well maintained and also very clean.

- Nothing to dislike
Admission:
Our college has three types entrance admission - WBJEE, JEE mains, JEXPO. Also it has direct admission process. The cut of the WBJEE is around 70 thousand. Also the particlular student have to complete Higher secondary examination (10+2) with science background have to score over 60%.

- The teachers of the department are very helful in any field a student wants to work on
- The college encourages cultural involvement very much
Dislikes
- Location of college, as there is waterlogging in monsoon
- The curriculum is a little bit more on the theory side than practicals
Admission:
I had to give WBJEE (rank was around 31k) to get into CSE. Admission through JEE Mains is also available. There is also a 3rd category of admission, i.e., direct admission where students have to contact the college directly to get admitted.

The total fee of JIS University Diploma in Pharmacy is INR One lac seventy thousand. The year wise or semester wise fee structure has not been uploaded in online mode.
The JIS University does not offer BBALLB in Honors mode. The fee details of JIS University BBA LLB (General) course is not available in year wise or semester wise.The total fee of the course is INR Five lacs twenty two thousand.
JIS University conducts its own entrance examination known as JISUET (JIS University Entrance Test) for admission to UG and PG courses. You need to appear for it and pass it with valid cutoff scores for admission.

The updated fee structure of MSc Geoinformatics has not been updated on JIS University's official website. It is expected that the fee structure will be updated soon.
You can now apply for whichever course you want to get admission at JIS University, as application process has started till Feb 20.
You need to appear for CAT/MAT/XAT for MBA course while for B.Tech and other courses, you need to appear WBJEE exam.
