JIS University Admission Open for Session 2026; JET Phase 1 to Be Held on February 15

Eligible candidates can apply online for courses offered across JIS University and other JIS Group campuses, with selection based on JET and other accepted entrance exams.

JIS University has officially announced the Phase 1 examination date for the JIS University Entrance Test (JET) 2026. As per the latest update, the first JET examination will be conducted on February 15, 2026.

JET 2026 is mandatory for admission to UG and PG programmes offered by the university for the academic session 2026–27. Candidates seeking admission must register in advance and qualify for the entrance examination.

The JIS University Entrance Test (JET-2026) will be conducted in online mode in a Multiple Choice Question (MCQ) format. Students can attempt the examination remotely from their preferred location. In special cases, candidates may also appear physically at the university campus in Agarpara, Kolkata, based on predefined time slots and prior registration.

The following programmes are offered across JIS University and other institutions under the JIS Group, including campuses in JISCE, JISIASR, JISSP, and JISIP, in the course and specialisation.

JIS University accepts students primarily based on the JIS University Entrance Test (JET). For B.Tech and B.Pharma applicants, admission based on the WBJEE / JEE Main rank is accepted as well. Also, the MBA program accepts students through CAT / MAT/ XAT/ CMAT / GMAT / NMAT scores. Based on the entrance examination score and availability of seats, the university makes the selection. All JIS University admissions take place online.
