Good placement opportunities, on average 7lpa is the slary cap from this university. companies like amazon hire from this university.
The teaching staff is very well equipped and very friendly. helps in understanding the topics very easily.
It's just an gorgeous place or site to study , enjoy and increases the creativity .

Dislikes

Hostel wifi didn't run in a proper way that is not good
The room is okk but lots of things are not present that why students faces various problems the meal is very bad all meal are anhaginic actually food is very bad can't eat lots of locality rooms are present
The sanitation in the toilets are very poorly done, its not clean and well lit

My own and untammed experience at JIS University

Likes

Campus is always clean and well maintained.
No ragging takes place in the campus which makes it friendly for everyone.
the faculty is very supportive towards the students and always ready to help.

Dislikes

there is no proper canteen in the college so it becomes difficult for the students to have there food as we have to stay there for 6-7 hrs.
there is less curriculum activities, fest is organised only onces or not even that
there is partiality between bengalis and non bengali student and even many of the faculty or steff prefer speaking in bengali only

Placement Experience:

From last semester that is the 10th sem students are eligible for campus placements. Companies like TCS, Infosys, Paytm, ICICI bank, HDFC, etc. 85% of students were placed last year. There were 100+ recruiters and the highest package in the law department went up to 8LPA. My plan after getting the degree is to get a campus placement in any of the big companies.

Our college gives the best placement, and before placement facilities prepare every student very well. Yes, our college encourages us for entrepreneurship and startup. Yes, alumni support junior in hitting placed in our college.
