- Campus is always clean and well maintained.

Dislikes
- there is no proper canteen in the college so it becomes difficult for the students to have there food as we have to stay there for 6-7 hrs.
- there is less curriculum activities, fest is organised only onces or not even that
- there is partiality between bengalis and non bengali student and even many of the faculty or steff prefer speaking in bengali only
Course Curriculum Overview
I wanted to be a lawyer since class 3 and as I grew older I even want to get rich so corporate law is something in this field that I can opt for and also not just in the law field but there are even other opportunities that are open for a law student such as government jobs etc. The faculty here are very helpful and supportive but there is a bit of partiality between Bengali students and nonbengali students. All the faculty are well qualified most of them are Ph.D. and many are pursuing Ph.D.
Placement Experience
From last semester that is the 10th sem students are eligible for campus placements. Companies like TCS, Infosys, Paytm, ICICI bank, HDFC, etc. 85% of students were placed last year. There were 100+ recruiters and the highest package in the law department went up to 8LPA. My plan after getting the degree is to get a campus placement in any of the big companies.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fees for 5 yr course is 5 lacs but you can avail scholarship on the basis of your 12th grade percentage. A student scoring above 80% are eligible for scholarship up to 20-30 % and a student getting above 85% is eligible for a 50% waiver on the college fees.
Campus Life
Fest name MRIDANG which is hosted annually there is no fixed month for it as there was a covid pandemic so everything was stopped and now everything is again getting back into place. Last year this fest was conducted in May but this year it isn't been conducted in May, might be in a later month it will be conducted.
Admission
There was an entrance test (JET) taken at the time of admission online. The entrance form can be found on the college's own website and there are no fees for filling out the application form. There are reservation benefits to students of ST, SC, and OBC in taking admission. I don't belong to this category so don't have many details on how much benefit can be availed. There must be more transparency and clarity in the admission process, and the result published of the entrance test.
